Well, this post has gone to hell. Might as well add to the confusion: SHAKA KAHN, SHAKA KAHN! PURPLE MONKEY GARBARDIIIIIIIIINE!!!!
maybe people just can't spell worth shit, just because you have a skill doesn't mean everyone should stephen hawkings who is no doubt a genius can't walk, he lacks a skill most people have, does that lessen him? so please get off your high horse and eat some cotton candy.... cotton candy makes everything better......
1. not according to the (6?, it's 5 or six, I never remember) intelligences (sp?) kineticism is a type of intelligence in that particular philosophy 2. if one is held to that sort of stricture then what about specialists, you are expecting every genius to be a generalist, to know everything about spelling even though frankly in 99 and 9/10 cases spelling is fungible, to say that spelling is relevant in this way is just as ludicrous (sp?) as to expect someone to know everything about sports just because they are smart, it is a different iteration of the same argument, should one be omnicient because one is classed top 1%? there are people who have an absure amount of knowledge about neurosciences but don't know shit about carbeurator (sp?) repair, would you expect them to know that? likewist there are thermodynamicists who can do amazing things with heat shedding on a jet (sr-71, that thing is a work of art) but don't know how to deal with a broken leg or how to change a tire just because you know something doesn't mean everyone does, to assume they do is an incredibly arrogant thing and is frankly hubris this is an asinine idea for a thread, this is an asinine idea and it perpetuates asinine ideas, people are stupid..... this petty shit, the petty bullshit of this thread even having been made is proof of that.....
Are you implying that just because they know and "absurd" ammount of knowledge on neurosciences that they are a genius? A retard can learn from a book. Your level of genius in my opinion isn't based on what you know but how you can manipulate the data you've been given with to produce a given answer whether is be in neurosciences or what not. But yes you should be able to spell genius because if you're consider yourself one its only ironic that you or someone would misspell it.
I agree with this, however, each of us is "gifted" in different ways. I don't believe you have to be a "genius" at everything to be considered a genius, ie. I think geniuses can be really bad spellers. This skill is based mainly on memorization, which really reflects little upon intelligence at all, and has little to do with skills of problem solving.
