Off to the Amsterdam in a few weeks. Its been 10 years since i last went so.. when you go into a bar, do you order and pay for drinks at the bar or do you take a seat and and someone comes to take your drink order. I really carnt remember. Thanks BB
it depends.. it's different at every bar.. But most places take your order at the table.. But just look around if you see a waitress walking or not.. otherwise just ask at the bar..
Most you go to the counter and order there as far as coffee shops are concerned although you have to buy drinks separately to the marijuana/hash. It all depends what sort of place it is and whether they sell food/snacks, etc. But I can pretty much guarantee you will have to just walk up to the bar to be noticed. Nothing wrong with asking if they table service obviously tipping is in order here, this applies to marijuana based coffee shops only here, otherwise it's just the same as the UK, ie, some do and some don't.
