Chya! Bla pa tadaaaahhhhhh!! LA la la la!!! **GASPS**GASPS**GASPS** YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Forgive me but I'm just a little excited. We found a house in the mountains today and its AWESOME! We most likeley will be moving within the month! It's in a small town called Wandervu in Colorado. We will have a big stream practically in our own backyard, and nice reservoir right nearby, ski resort 20 minutes down the road, and just surrounded by the lovely forest and mountains. YES! YES! YES! No more city traffic, and stuck up landlords. No more fricken people all over the friggin place! YEAHOOOOOOOOOOO! The only things that I'm going to have to adjust to is that there is no well, we only have a small tank in the kitchen. So, we'd have to really conserve on the water, like only one shower per week or something. Then there's so so so much work we have to do on the house, but it sounds like it'll be fun! So, this is not a definite thing, we still have to negotiate the details with the owner of the house. But it feels so right and I'm just BURSTING with excitement about it! Wish me luck!
stick a big bowl under the shower to collect the water an dboil it, it'll be clean and usable again. or not why isn't ther e awell? ? That's just sill y talk. When I lived on an acreage we had a well, albeit a rusty orange-coloured well (super high iron content)and it wasn't drinakble, but you could clean yourself in it no problem. heck, I got starwberry blonde hair from that water before id yed it all super red. yeah, dirnking htis much is a little too much forme.
THere is a well...but it's small, and it's not all ours, there are other people in the neighboring homes that use it. We don't want to use up all of their water because there are four of us. We would probably be able to take more than one shower per week, but not much more. Eventually when we can come up with 3000 dollars, we'll have one put in, but we'd have to rough it until then. I think it's totally worth it.
go for it...sounds like a great place... ...though i don't think i could leave a city atmosphere...but thats just me....so yea, good luck with that.
Dude! You are so lucky and I would totally jump on the opportunity. Are you buying the place? And am so jealous that you got to go to Nevada.I want to go back home so bad. We are going to try in a few months with another company. The same company dh worked for in Nevada. They said they would take him back but we need to save some $ first. Show us pictures of the place when you can!
We really wanted to move to Truckee or something of the like, but that's going to have to wait. Like you say, we'll have to save some $ first. And YES we are buying the place. We're renting to own. It's $600 per month for two years and then the place get's signed over to us and is in our name, and we have left to pay $40 grand. I'm really excited! If you guys move to Reno then we'll get to come and visit you when we go to see the rest of the family. It's soooooo nice now girl! They've fixed it up real good and it looks like such a great place to raise the kids. Here's some pics of Reno and some other spots we visited along the way: http://reno.shutterfly.com
