i noticed that a day or so after i backcomb my hair starts to straighten out at the ends and becomes less knottied. is this normal? the last time i wet my hair was at the beach, nice goodie salt water about a week before and i havent washed my hair with any shampoos or conditioners for some weeks before i started locking up my hair. so is it normal for backcombing undone a little bit? i mean i still have some knot but its not as tight or as big. so is this normal and will the ends which are still straight ever dread or will i have to cut them?

don't worry about it, that happens. if you feel the need, you could try backcombing a bit more, but they're still babies..theres also a solution you can spray in em that'll tighten the knots up..its just salt-water, and i *think* you add lemon juice, but someone else might wanna confirm that. you can just make it at home, real easy..and the ends'll eventually dread themselves up with plenty of palmrolling, but it'll just take a while ^^

    Don't worry about it, they'll re-knot themselves.
