Ok I got into philoshoy and religon when I questioned my religon(JW christanity) for the first time.Up until that Time really I did not much care I just took it all in and learned all about the Bible and Jesus and Jehovah. So basicly yeah that was it. I did know at the time thought that spirtuallity helped me "deal" with my stupid teenaged problems that in the long run dont really matter. Any way then I looked into more stuff on the internet and movies and stuff.Well after a long while of looking I found Buhddaism.But after a while I found my questions about my religon answerd after a while.But then I realized that I really hated the guilt i got after commiting a "sin" they wernt big sins nothing that could get me kicked out of the religon if I was an offical JW but because Im a kid and its my choice.So after thinking about it and what I had found out about reality so far I started to beleave Buhddaism.But really I could no just let my old religon go and I prayed to Jehovah asking him if he could find a hole in Buhddaism for me. After about 2 days when I went to the JW meeting the Speaker actually talked about Buhhdasim and the one hole in its logic."When Buhhda was asked about a one of his "enlightened" monks who had just passed away he said he did not know what would happen to the monk who would not be reborn." Now not only did I think that god had actually answerd my question but I dont really know how some one who was "enlightened" could say he did not know. So I went back to my formmer religon but then I thought "What if it was just chance and the fact that i had been a Buhhdist for some time and it just so happend that that subject had come up.The point of the whole speech was not about Buhddaism but about why Buhhdist and Hindu meditation was a form of spirtism or at least harmful to the mind."But I shruged off this and contimed.But I knew aslo I could just go my own way and just be the way I wanted to be with no resrictions except my own morals.In the next post shall show you what I right now know about all this stuff and reallity and morals and ethics and god and conuesnness and religon. Ill post that later. Until I can make up my mind i am still a JW chistain.
This is because there are things that God's enlightened children do not know. True enlightenment means you know God, not that you know everything that God knows. Buddhism is another path God has created to attain knowledge of God, although the terminologies are different (and so are the jokes). I went to a JW meating and found the negatives to be jokes. I mean, God got me slightly stoned beforehand, and then the speaker was talking about how weed is evil. I giggled a bit, but tried to keep my composure, because of course you don't know how many people in the congregation take God's jokes seriously.
Reality: Each of us has are own precpetions of the world and what the world is.That is are Reality.But other people see the world differnt.For example I see the world twisted and sad while others think its ok.But we all think in the same world right?During my resurch I came upon the theroy of the collective unconnsise.We humans(In theroy) are connected by this and that sapes the over all view of the world and universe.Because are precptions are illusion(think world is sad but it may be kinda ok) That means what we precive as phiscal is like all other senses an illusion.But ainmals maby have a differnt collective unconnsise and may see the world(take dogs for example) in black in white when for us its in color.To a color blind preson the world is black and white I think but I would not know Im not color blind and the world for me is in color.But all these reality are infact real you could say.When dreaming it seems real but becuse you are the only one seeing(The collective unconnsise has no affect) it is told to you that it not real when in fact it is...to you.But is there anything that is REAL REAL as in allways there for every one seen or unseen(by us)?Well thats God.God is all and all is god and one is god and god is one. JWChristain spin:That god is Jehovah who though can be evil he has chosen to be good ans wishes his creation that exists within him to be happy.Any evil he will destory becuse he is a good person and wants good people to be happy.(Dont look for somthing about the nature of Reality in the Bible its not there.)God only tells us things we need to know becuse we can not comphrehend him and his size or what he actually is.... My own path spin:God made every thing as it is like it or not.Why? God is incomprhendable dont even begin to try and understand his logic and thinking.he has given us religon so we can be good(I think anyway) people and not blow are selfs up or if we do thats our choice and our problem. On enlightenment: What it is not: .The buhddist verson where you whipe your mind clean(2 clean mabey) and then are liberated form the whole.(Thats impossibe I think) .being stupid .being evil What it is: i dont know that yet....(Who do think I am, enlightened?lol) But its some kind of higher wisdom that few people reach I think....
On Evil and Suffering: JWChristain spin: Evil and Suffering was neverment to be in the world and god will soon end it.We are respoible for our own actions but remeber you dont want to make god feel bad about you... My own path spin: Evil and suffering have allways been here and allways will be.We are not "siners" but we choose what we do and are reposhible for our actions.God may have sent us morals so we can think twice before doing something evil and as we evolve we shall become more moral.In the end we make our choices and some of us choose to do bad things. Thats all for now...

well, i'm agnostic/freethinker... so, as for learning/studying different religions/philosophies, the way it is for me, it's sorta like Aristotle's quote "it is the mark of an educated man to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it" or something like that... one thing about buddhism that interested me, (& i agreed with) was that i read it is against blind faith... so am i...
Sorry I forgot to respond to this...heh I thought Buhdda would know somthing about what happens to "enlightened" people after they die.But he did not....I dont think its posssible to liberate yourself from the whole is it?After all God is the whole so so thats impossible because god is everywhere.The Buhddist path is about whiping your mind clean so that you crave nothing but it kind of takes away more to.You become no longer a human, you are a blank slate.I dont want to be a blank slate.we are human for a reson i gess we have to deal with the suffering that comes with it(or not if JW christainy is right) so I dont know...but my knowlege could change....as allways You got yourself stoned but.. ...himm maby god was trying to tell you somthing like with me....thats the main reson I still want to belive there is evidence.He can do that.When some one needs some kind of gidence he gives it....I mean just 2 days after praying and boom that speech.So thats the man reson why i aruege with myself over this...
My geration was screwed over a long time ago by otherpeople.The ozone the war the sterotypes the closemindedness the sickness bla bla bla.JW Chriatiny gives me hope of a btter life one day and my own path lets me die in a blaze of glory making this life my seeming like my only life before the next life in an endless cycle.
