I saw this movie today on hbo. It was a great documentary about americas obsession with guns. Have you seen it? peace chickens
i saw it yesterday. it was sooo good! i loved the way he filmed it too. i like how it makes you laugh, makes you cry, and makes you think, not many movies can do that.
watched it in class and at home, and damn its so good! but i dont like how he tried-not-to-but-still-did put his spin on it...
I liked it a lot. It was biased, but that's to be expected. It seems every documentary about a controversial subject is biased. *shrugs*
great movie i only got to see half of it but im renting it tonight ...i think it is amazing when they compare the # of deaths by guns in america to other countries...espishily canada
Moore, a genius? Hmmm... a creative director, perhaps. I don't know if he is worthy enough to bare the "genius" moniker, though. Bowling for Columbine is an entertaining piece of fiction, as is much of Michael Moore's work. The guy is a great sensationalist, and I think this is why so many Americans love his movies. The man is the Rush Limbaugh of the left. I will say that I enjoyed Fahrenheit 9/11, though.
Michael Moore is not a genius at all. I think he knows how to use the information very well, but I agree he is a sensacionalist, anyway I liked Bowling for Columbine and his book "Stupid White Men" (or whatever is its original title). I think he is a little bit demagogic, because he try to put in some politicians mouth wht they didn't say, but I also think that he is doing ok, because it seems the only way to awake USA people, just telling them the truth just direct and dry, and what he says in those documents are a great amount of truths, despite the way he does. I have not seen Fahrenheit 9/11 yet, but i'm willing to
he's a genius in how he manages to get people to care. thats more than a lot of other people have done. you have to be a sensationalist if you want to get the bulk of america's attention.
