Hwody kids, i feal as if thare alot of people around the age of 18 or so who come to this part of the forams. seeing that i am going to be able to vote in this comeing election, i have gotten into alot of descutions concerning who to vote for. one of the probloms that seems to come up when i talked to kids around my own age is that thay say that thare upset about the goverment, abd then procede to tell me that thay are not voteing this year. so im asking anyone who reads this, who can vote this year, to get out to the polls and cast ur vote, cuz it dose matter, and we need to get this dumb fuck out of office, and realy, if none of us vote it's ganna be all older, conservative, white, rich guys decideing who wins.
While I believe that voting is important, I can understand people abstaining. I think the last election showed everyone that it doesn't matter who votes or for whom. Voters didn't elect George W. Bush.
well the thing is, it dose matter who votes for who, becuse the votes in the electorol college is decided by who wins the populer vote in the state, so, i can see how people can think that there vote dosent count, but infact it realy dose, becuse we need to get as meany of those votes away from bush. and sorry to say, but the only option thare is, is Carry, granted thare are alot of other partys out thare, its just that it's ither ganna be bush or carry, becuse thats all the majorty knows of, and would vote for, so vote for the less of 2 evils kids, lets try to get this contry back on track.

well the thing is, in the way that the votes go now adays, it's only a 2 party system, unless u can get half the country to decide that thay whant to vote 3rd party, its just a waste of ur vote, and it just makes it that much easer for bush to win, i think we should just try to get him out of office first, and our best bet is carry, granted i dont like the guy much, mostly becuse he sux at staffing, but i feal that he is a better option thean bush. Granted i would love for a 3rd party to win, its just looking at the facts realaistcly, it's not ganna happen. Voteing is ur say, but u shouldnt waste ur vote on someone who for the most part, has no chance of winning.
I know all about the electoral college. My point was that if a state (Florida, for instance) can choose which votes it wants to count, then some votes really don't count at all. (By the way, as I said earlier, you don't have to convince me. I do vote.)
