i picked up some shrooms a coupe of weeks ago and me and my friends all popped em. they were very potent mushrooms, i ate 2 grams expecting to eat another 2 in about an hour but after 20 minutes i was already blasted...we all were...good times...anyway before we even took em we noticed there were seeds in the mushrooms and werent sure why..obviously didnt stop us from takin em cuz aside from that they looked perfectly fine, no mold or anything. has anyone else ever encountered a species of mushroom with seeds on em? just doesnt seem possible to me
What did the shrooms look like? Extremely unlikely, but maybe someone "laced" your fungus with harmala seeds to increase potency...
eat_some_LSD, have you ever even heard of that happening? It seems like a ridiculous idea. Not a lot of people will give you MORE drugs to make your high BETTER without charging extra, anyway... DR. REEFER, maybe you're mistaking flakes of vermiculite or fertilizer pellets for seeds? I don't know, man, there are no seeds on any mushroom. I think you're probably mistaking them for something else.
well someone had to put them there. depending on the type of seed you would possibly have a clue as to why. but a likely reason is that mushrooms aren't very dense at all, and hiding seeds in them (say, spare cannabis seeds laying around doing nothing) may make them weigh just a little more. basically the same as putting little things in a sack of pot....
well i know for a fact there not weed seeds they actually look more similar to popcorn kernels. none of us ate the seeds obvioulsy cuz............WHY THE HELL ARE THERE SEEDS ON OUR MUSHROOMS! lol, no but seriously we were completely baffled by this. they were very good mushrooms either way and actually not bad tasting compared to some other strains. Id like to hear what gecko or gnrm23's input on this would be, they seem rather wise and experienced in this field.
oh, well if thats what they are theres no mystery at all. they were just grown on popcorn or a similar looking grain. cubes are often (almost always) grown on grains when cultivated indoors, its likely that a peice of grain got stuck on the mushroom or something. it happens with vermiculite when using the PF tek, so i suppose it could happen when using whole grains? i dunno. thats probably it, though. it's probably just substrate.
