Ok, I went to Joannes, and they have these plain bag/purses that I guess you can decorate yourself. And i think that would be kinda cool...well I was wondering, how would you paint it? Fabric paint or something? I wanted to paint it like 4-5 different colors, or so? With a paintbrush or like with those sponges? Because the bags/purses are all plain yucky tan! hehe! Thank you!!

i think fleassy posted a pic in the old forums which showed a bag where she had
painted something on with acrylic colors.
probably there are some that wash off and some that doesn't so if you use arcrylic paint be sure to use a kind that doesn't wash off.
and maybe the kind of paint you use to paint on silk will work, too?

Is it made out of a canvas fabric? If so, get paint that won't wash off
or fade. What else might be a cool idea is get some fabric glue that is
safe for washing and glue some groovy pieces of fabric or pictures or
even sew some cool little pretties!

    Good Luck!

They do have paint specifically designed for fabric, labeled Fabric Paint... you can find that at Jo-Ann's. You can use a regular paint brush with it, or a sponge. Just depends on you and the style and technique your going for. Sometimes fabric paint can be a bit thick, but water will easily thin it out.

I know people who have just used acrylic paint... but this stuff will crack and start to peel off.
