I am a novice, accidental grower. I tossed a couple seeds out the window and turned the dirt where they were and now I have 5 seedlings. BUT its been so hot the past couple of weeks, the sun is burning them up. Is there anything I can do either to prevent or treat this problem?
Nothing you can do. It you put a tarp or provided shade of some sort, that would cause the pot to stretch. Maybe though if you were home mid-day for a few hours you could provide shade from like say 1 p.m.--3 p.m. Usually, the sun does not kill pot. Pot loves full sun. Temps over 100F will slow the plant's growth down to a slow crawl, but won't kill it.
