Unimpressed by celebrities?

I'm impressed because they have a shitload of money, and some of them are rather attractive. Not many. I don't follow their lives or anything, that's some boring shit, but they do have a LOT more money than I do, and I wish I had more than I do right now.

 

i'm totally not impressed either...my friends get frustrated with me at times because i definitely don't follow any sort of 'celeb gossip'...or even bother to learn names of celebrities!

i don't mind celebrities as individuals, but the phenomenon of celebrity in our culture offends and saddens me. you see people imitating others based on nothing more than a talent for music or acting, and believing their lives are less interesting and important than those of other, more famous people. i think that's really too bad.

i am not uniimpressed by a person simply because he/she is a celebrity. If someone does something impressive, then I'm impressed. Fame isn't that impressive in itself.
