Frog and Toad

    Does anyone remember Frog and Toad? I used to love reading those books.

    I used to read those all the time. they were a few of the first books I ever read by myself!

    Lovely books... I read them many times as a kid... even now they can always make me laugh. :)

    i wore the crap out of one of those as a kid, it had something to do with cookies lol thats all i remember now

    i used to read them all the time, about a year ago i went on a nostalgia trip and checked all of them out of the library. they were still awesome.

    haha, frog and toad bake cookies, but then put them away because they want to stop eating them, or something like that.

    My favorite is the list. I tell it to my students all the time, they love it. Frog, or toad, I forget, makes a list of what to do that day, but then it blows away and he sits in the same spot because he doesn't know what to do without the list :0) I like how there's this cute little lesson in it, but they're not too preachy. Plus, it's fun to do the voices, hehe

    it's so amazing that you went back and reread them as an adult. Frog and Toad are a totally simple yet wonderful duo that hopped through my imagination as a kid. maybe ill give them a visit soon
