yup, just got out of work, going insane at home, tommorow the same shit, neaver get anywhere, people say theres a light at the end of the tunnel, this is a long fucking tunnel, i dunno man, maybe im just bi-polar but this world sucks everyone needs to get there heads out of there asses and see that it doesnt have to be this way, people dont have to be poor, we dont have to destroy the planet, we dont have to kill each other,i dont get these people, we are slaves to the man and we let them make us slaves so they can get richer and fatter while we get poorer and dumber. i mean we got fucking retarded famous people saying shit about africa and how bad it is, i eat one meal a day, i cant afford to see a doctor or a dentist, all the food we eat is fucking bad for us, i cant afford new shirts, pants and shit. life is all about makeing money. why? so i can get rich get fat and watch survivor on my yacht all day? i dont intend to tip toe my way through life to arive safely at death. why should i work till im 75 and get no SS cuase it will be gone by them and die horribly and lonely in some county nursing home i think not. wake up you fucking idiots open your eyes, life not sussposed to be a stuggle minute by minute. the system works? BULLSHIT. the system dosent give a shit about you they care about gaining more power and makeing themselves more rich while makeing you more poor there is no freedom in this country you dont not have the freedom to say what you want, do what you want. there is no freedom of assembly you have a 5 man protest with 50 cops in full riot gear. i dont feel safe when i walk out the door they make us live in fear of them. are kids are soo fucked, and that really pisses me off, total disregard of future generations what are we sussposed to tell them when they turn 18? o theres no apartments, no jobs ,no education, but you can go help clean the nuclear wastes dumped in the river behind our house becuase its cost-effective to dump it there and we can kill half the town too!its fucking bullshit. im done

Well dude, about the protests. We gotta gather more than 5 people for one. Out number those damn cops and they won't do shit. And if they start something that will just show everyone else how corrupt the system is man. It is true that they don't give a shit. They talk about helping everyone out, but never do anything to back the words up. Just a bunch of hypocrites and corrupt people running the whole show.

I said something like this in a different forum, and was told, "get used to it." But know what? No! I totally know what you're saying, and I'm with you. Try not to be depressed about it... it's mostly hopeless, but if you give up that hope then it's the end. I go to a crappy job 4-5 days a week, and try and make it the most positive thing that's ever happened to me, because during the process of trying to make change, you have to make due with what you have. Really, there is a light at the end of this tunnel. It might be a long way off, or maybe we're blindfolded and it's only two feet in front of us. Try and be as happy as you can, and make as much of the change yourself that you can. Things'll all work out one way or another!

i think you should move out into the forest and live on the land. grow your own food and even hunt your own food. don't live with electricity. who says you have to work and live in this self-destructive society. do what ted kacinski did except maybe not kill anyone and build a bigger shack. if you do it and invite people to your shack, they may like your life and follow. you can help them build their shack and then develop a relationship with them. more people will move out, including celebrities who want attention. madonna will realize kaballah is on its way out and then develop the shack lifestyle. donald trump will develop a real estate monopoly on the shacks in the east, an uprising, though, will kill him and be back to normal. then society will redevelop into what it is today, except you will be at the top of the food chain, and can oppress the oppressors.

i don't know why everybody doesnt just rebel against corporate fat cats. by how many people do we outnumber the cops? it's ridiculous how people take this bullshit from wall street and the government.

i think it would be great if we boycotted gasoline. man would that be awesome. the saudi royal family would be in ruins, the whole bush family would be in ruins. we can't be on the defense anymore. we need to start being on the offense. the saudis want to overcharge us on gas and create shortages, fuck them. let them see them we won't crumble to their demands. bush is friends with a hidden enemy. there all rich because we pay ridiculous prices for something that is ridiculously over priced.

i think the whole shack idea would be a good thing. turn it into a compound in some forest where there's nothing around for miles.

Do some research on an island called Bouganville, it's near papua new guinea. The tribes there live in the forest and run generators and transport on coconut oil, which they make themselves. The machinery is left over from mining companies which they drove out with sticks and stones. They have also given the PNG and Australian armies a run for their money.

I like living with all our commodities but disagree with the notion that we need unrenewable resources, which we are forced to pay far much for than we should. lets face it, we're going to run out oil soon, we need someone in power who isn't in it for the greed, power to the people. This requires listening to eachother no matter how stupid their ideas may sound. We need to work together if we're going to get anywhere.

I call for a single day work strike on August 1st 2006. Spread the news. Obviously it may not be a good idea for jobs required to save lives, this OBVIOUSLY defeats the object, i just mean people who work for large facist companies who have had enough. Lets do something active for once.

I got one thing for you if you can't beat them, join them. There is so much money out there that you can have for free all you have to do is fill out a form and go get. GO for an education they just throw money at you with grants and student aid and scholarships. If you need money to make things easier fill out that form make something of yourself and get that big paying job and show them how to live life without becoming the hypochrite. Peace

I saw you live in gilford... not to far from Mt. Major right?

My husband and me just hiked there recently, there was no words to describe how beautiful it was at the top, it really made me think about life, I go through times where I feel really down but it was a real pick-me-up standing on that mountain, it was inspiring. Anyway I see you don't live far from there, have you ever hiked it?
I was thinking maybe you could live on the small stone fort thats at the top! That way you wouldn't have to deal with the man

all I could think when I was up there was "I wonder if we could crash in that fort for a week, if anyone would mind" hehe

ahhhh to live in the wilderness... our only job is to grow, gather food, and find shelter....

 

Incubus, that is the best bit of advice I've ever read. i live in Wolves, so no mountains for me, there are lots of farms and woods surrounding the area though, so i often find myself sitting alone under a tree somewhere thinking about my direction. i don't think my friends see the appeal. It does some good to get away sometimes though. Good advice, made me smile.
