Alright, this is for all the nonbelievers out there. I am going to show you how there is huge amounts of evidence pointing towards THE END OF DAYS. First, to begin many many different cultures of the world have propchies of an apocalyptic time in man's history. The native Americans had propchies that after their land was taken from them that a great spider web would cover it from coast to coast. These "spider webs" are power lines, intrestaes, railroads, etc. The Natives who had these visions did not know what these things were, to them it appeared to be a large spider web. They then went on to predict that there would be moving boxes that would take people great distances and be filled with voices (radio). They were speaking about cars. But, in the end they predict that this nation that rose after they(Natives) had past would be destroyed in great fire...the same as how the Bible states Mystery Babylon would be destroyed. Mystery Babylon being America and America begin the Native American's homeland. We then have the Mayans who decided to end their calendar on 2012. Why does the Mayan calendar matter? Well it has been correct on every astronomical event to happen since the calendar was made. The Mayan's knew more about the stars and heavens then we do today. I find it very odd that they picked 2012 to be their end date. First off 2012 fits in to Bible Propchies as the last year of the Tribulation, or the year that Jesus returns. It is also strange that in 2012 our solar system lines up on the axis of our galaxy. This has never happened before and is the biggest astronomical event that man will ever see, if we are still alive by then. Now it is very strange that one of the most mysterious and advanced (in astronomy) civilizations would decided to end their calendar on 2012, given the importance of that year and the knowdlge of the Mayan people. Now we move on to the propchies of St. Malachy. This man left a list of future popes all the way to the end of time. Right now, we are on the second to LAST pope, St. Benedict. John Paul 2 was refereed to as "De Labore Solis" (Of the Solar Eclipse) in St. Malachy's propchies. Now this name makes a lot of sense because not only was Pope John Paul 2 born on a day of a solar eclipse, but they also had his funeral on a day that there was a solar eclipse. The Pope before John Paul 2 was described as the Pope of the Half Moon. This is again strange because this pope was elected on the night of a perfect half moon. The list of popes left by Malachy has not been wrong yet. So the Pope that was elected earlier this year was called "From the Glory of the Olive" according to Malachy. So how does Pope Benedict fit that name? Well, before Benedict was elected Pope the Order of Saint Benedict claimed that the next pope would come from its ranks and Saint Benedict himself prophesied that before the end of the world his Order, known also as the OLIVETANS, will triumphantly lead the Catholic Church in its final fight against evil. Benedict also was holding a branch of an Olive tree when he was elected. Of the 112 popes Malachy described each one has fit the describtion given by Malachy perfectly. Now the Pope that will come after Benedict, which will be soon, will be called Peter the Roman and he will lead the people through many tribulations and then the "seven hilled city" (Rome) will be destroyed. Malachy wrote that during the reign of the last pope the great judge of judges shall come and judge all....sounds like God is back. We now move on to the Bible's propchies and the Bible Code, both of which agree with one another on the timing of certain events. Now I will not go through all the predictions of the Bible because most reading this already know what they are and if not you can find them in past threads started by me. But, in short the Bible predicts that man will cover the Earth (has happened), begin to travel a lot (Cars, planes, etc.), knowledge will increase (internet), man would become filled with sin again (has happened), a great mystery super power will rise (America), the Jews would be persecuted and return to Israel (both of which has happened), the weather would get strange (is happening), there would be a rise in natural disasters (there have been A LOT MORE earthquakes than usual in 2005, almost all tropical storms are becoming huge hurricanes also), and much much much much much more. We then have the Bible Code which agrees with all these propchies and also foretells of the End of the World. The Bible Code is the sealed book God spoke of to Daniel. He said that this book would be sealed until the end, well the Bible Code has been discovered thanks to computers and is now unsealed (in the time of the end). Now I will move on to Nostradums. While his propchies are very hard to understand and he is not to credible, he did predict that the third world war would slowly start and that terrorism would be what pushes the world into the third world war. Well considering terrorism was unheard of in his day and that Al-Queda has just recently become a Global terror net work (major attacks in London, Egypt, and Iraq) in the last month, his propchies are starting to hold some weight. And finally let us take a look at Earth. Now not only is there Global warming going on, but many different areas are WAY overdue for huge Earthquakes (such as California and Tokyo). There is also Yellowstone which is a super volcano and is also overdue. If Yellowstone blew up almost everyone living on the west coast and in the midwest of America would die. SO!!!! there is more than enough evidence to point to the fact that we are heading for great destruction in the near future. There is soooooo much more info on all these things. More likely in Yellowstone than a large explosive caldera-forming eruption is eruption of a lava flow, which would be far less devastating. I found this info. on the Yellowstone Volcano Observatory site. They aren't really painting an apocalyptic picture from my viewpoint.

Hello All, I want to make a few brief observations and comments, I had hoped to do this last night along with my other posts. I also want to make clear, although it is probably obvious, that I speak only for myself: (1) I am not trying to judge the quality of anyones intuitive sense; I hope to be open minded and where I have erred I believe that it is important to be honest with myself about the nature of these errors. (2) There are great and amazing possibilities in our world; all kinds of new phenomena to learn of. 'Freezing' ones mind in premature conclusion, rather than being open to review of ideas and of the self, and the interconnections between these, weakens our ability to discover at each moment and otherwise. Now I understand that this can be difficult but I, personally, have found that as faith in this process increases, even in questioning the process itself, that the ego changes and, then, being open to experience and "openly" questioning becomes easy. This process, as unusual as it may seem, is, in my opinion, intimately connected to the democratic process and, in particular, an "enlightened" or "sophisticated" democratic process. (3) The Hipforums freespeech policies are, actually, very sophisticated and represent an important aspect of 'enlightened democracy'. Hipforums is setting an extremely important example 'for the world to see' and I would not underestimate the significance, and potential significance, of this. (4) Everyone who obeys common sense rules that basically, in my estimation, are rooted in the concept that "if you do not harm people or the technical functionality of the site" you have the privilege to post; this is to say that freedom is protected. And sometimes along with this comes difficulty that, in wisdom, should be accepted. No matter that most appear to disagree (see the polls) with all of the "pro Armageddon arguement thread starters" their freedom is being protected. (5) I believe that there may be some truth to what some of the above "thread starters" say, but I also believe that it is mixed with untruth, fear-based religious coercion, supremist religious views that are pregnant with the seeds of prejudice, circular arguements, and an apparent inability to speak of ideas with healthy reserve and self review. (6) I believe that the above mentioned "thread starters" are, at least, consciously sincere and that they should be treated with the compassion, respect and steadfast questioning that I have thus far seen and that is characteristic, and worthy, of this wonderful location in space called Hipforums. Look for these things, THEY WILL BE IN THE NEWS, everyone will be able to see them clear as day. I said that was my last psot, but I msut address this last remark from apollo. The USA is the biggest evil in the world. We are the bad guys, in the end times there are not good guys other then those who remain with god, but they will be killed by the anti-christ. Bush can not be the Anti-Christ for many reasons. First being that the Anti-Christ will bring peace (at first), he will be loved by almost everyone. Other than thsoe who KNOW that he is the Anti-Christ. He will end up sitting in the thrid temple in Isreal and claim to be God, Bush will never do this. Second the Anti-Christ will not be very known before he comes to power, he is most likely not a world leader right now...but he will be soon. Third, do you really think the whole world would let Bush be in charge, even if they thought he was Christ.
