I particularly loved the part where Dubya's aids came into the classroom and told him about the 9/11 attacks. THAT is our President sitting there, like a deer caught in the headlights, doing absolutely nothing for seven minutes - What a leader!

It's the most damning part of the film, as far as I'm concerned, in terms of proving the "Shrub" has no business being in the White House.

    I loved the film!

i'm fairly certain that he didn't fake the footage. so if you want to be informed of all the stuff the monopoledia faces their backs to, buy the DVD and watch it on mute, so as not to be swayed by MM's commentary.

I saw the movie last night, and all I can say is WOW. Most of the information I already knew but there where some unsettling facts I didn't know. I won't go into detail because I'm sure alot of you have not seen it.Wether you support Bush or are anti-bush, you should see this movie. There is no question this could change some people's minds out there.

I can't believe that people are watching this movie! I watched Bowling for Columbine on cable a few weeks ago and I wouldn't watch another of his lame documentaries. I was convinced that he was full of crap when (in bowling for columbine) he was talking/interviewing the guy who wrote "why we fear the wrong things" (or whatever its called). Those two guys are full of shit, IMO.

Moore skewered Bush -- caught him and his cohorts lying, cheating, and stealing, and sending Americans into harm's way for oil and his oil cronies. He comes across as a complete asshole -- Bush WILL NOT GET REELECTED!

Then he should emphasize that his movies aren't based strictly on facts. He puts together partial facts and lots of fiction and calls it "nonfiction" and says its all true, he's doing the same thing he criticises people for: Mixing fact and fiction to make an interesting story and loads of money.

actually its Michael Moore who is whining... first of all.... it's not a documentary because a documentary is "Presenting facts objectively without editorializing or inserting fictional matter, as in a book or film." obviously he splices speeches and twists the truth...

and second... Moore will not change opinion... he is over spoken... and he is preaching to the choir... too bad they have no talent... AKA no truth... the truth is Moore is a good editor... he is a movie maker... not a polition... so his belifs mean no more than aneyone elses... not to mention that it takes only one vote to cancell his out.. oh great Moore... one man... the leader of the leftist hive... a king w/ no power is no king...

also regarding your sig... Bush is straight... kinda like Clinton... but bush doesn’t need to commit adultery to prove it...

well im sorry you had to see it but thanks for respecting opinions.. but you should understand political analists always say on Fox News on CNN, MSNBC, ect... say that the movie will have no effect on the race... they have a point.. Moore is just an over spoken idiot.. IMHO.... also... lets hope Bush dosn't go down... last time we had a democrat as president we had Mogadishu and we bomed Iraq...... but I supported those.. not Clinton...

OH no im off subject.. stuped Moore movie.. im gonna have to get it illegaly to laugh at it... just not to make another commie ritch... a welthy commie.. wird... oh well...

Moore couldn't get aney from Bush even if he was gay... Moore is fatter than I am >_<... also like I have repeated most people dont vote because of a fiction movie.. go see shrek 2 its better... or doge ball... or mabe white chicks.. those are atleast move belevable... not to mention funney...

anyway, to get off the rightwing bantering-bullshit-bandwagon, the film was a smashing success across the nation on opening weekend, drawing crowds completely unprecedented for a documentary. Lines down the block, sold-out theaters, theaters cancelling other film showings to fill the demand to see Fahrenheit, other theaters refusing the enforce the "R" rating, and standing ovations at the end of the movie.
    The rightwing is probably fucked.

No matter what, this movie is causing ALOT of talk, and I don't mean the bullshit that's being said in this particular forum.

Post by: friend of Republican, with Republican's approval (he's sitting next to me for God's sake)!

This is enough. Republican has put up with you for a long time and will some more. But I am here now to let you know how I feel. If you see Moore's film, I can't stop you. But I'd like you to understand just a few of the reasons why I believe that this man really is a traitor. Sure, he's just exercising his first amendment rights (same ones that so many heroic G.I.s, sung and unsung, have died and fought for), but he crosses the lines of decency and honesty.

Decency: Michael Moore stated that he wished that more Republicans had been in the Twin Towers on September 11. So did he approve the deaths of Republican civilians that day? Approval of such actions is to support the terrorists in spirit. Just saying such a thing is sick. I would never wish that on anyone other than those who would themselves carry out such actions. So, yes, I would disapprove of the killing of Michael Moore, as no one deserves to die at the hand of extremist cowards who taint their own religion in the eyes of the majority of the world.

Honesty: Michael Moores stated that the reason the planes crashed into the towers and pentagon was that the passengers on board were "scardy-cat whites." He also said that, if there had been blacks on board, the terrorists "...would have been crushed by the dudes." Haha, how quickly the man calls Republicans racists. Remember when the lists of victims from September 11 were released? Remember that there were, in fact, black passengers who perished just as much as any other innocent victims on the planes? This is not to say that it is the fault of black passengers, it is to say that race had nothing to do with the attacks. The fault was solely with the terrorists, though Michael Moore would lead you to believe that it was with the Bush administration. Now, what does Moore have to say to the families of the deceased from the Pennsylvania flight? "Mrs. Beamer...Mrs. Burnett...your husbands would have been able to LAND the plane if they were black." No, he didn't actually say that, but what could he say to them? For in fact, we still remember those who fought their cowardly captors that day and showed those sons-of-guns what Americans could do if they stood strong and refused to yield to enforcers of hatred. We remember how they boiled water in the back of the plane, splashed it on the faces of the enemy, and crashed the plane into a field so that others might live. Were these passengers, white, black, and more, scardy-cats? If you say yes, I do believe that there is no hope for you and that you are, in fact, scum. Yes, I do believe it, so don't challenge it.

Tell me, just how evil is our war? Source: War Stories: Operation Iraqi Freedom contains an example from the Marines in Iraq of just how hard we are working to help the citizens. After reaching a town, the soldiers came under fire and returned the favor with success. They found a boy with a fracture, not sustained from the fight, but taken from being pushed off of a roof by Iraqi soldiers when Sadaam's loyalists threatened his family earlier in the day. The medics spent time, energy, and, yes, our tax money to make a cast for the boy. I suppose you think that's a waste of tax money, huh? It makes our evil defosit even higher, eh? Well, tell me that the welfare of an innocent child abused by Sadaam's government isn't worth out taxes. If any of you can honestly say that, then you truly are twisted. Think of how compassionate our fighting men are, and just how important and humanitarian our mission really is. Later, that same day, the boy stepped on a landmine that had been in the country God knows how long and died. What are soldiers doing in these countries? They're defusing landmines, making the countries safer for everyone. Christmas day, 2002, I believe it was, a U.S. soldier was clearing landmines and accidentally set one off. He lost a leg and finger, and is lucky to be alive. Think about the price that he had to pay. Would you like to be putting your life on the line on Christmas day so that others could live in safety? You know, this also brings up some of the truth about Bush, because, feeling sorry for this poor G.I., away from home and in terrible pain that day, Bush told the man that once he was able to run a mile with his new prosthetic leg, they could run together without any news coverage to glorify the event. The man recovered as well as he could and the two did run that mile together. Someone took a picture and got it circulated, and now you can view it on www.snopes.com in addition to other sites. Now, while we speak of Bush, why don't you take some time away from what you are doing (hopefully legal) to read this story: http://www.naplesnews.com/npdn/florida/article/0,2071,NPDN_14910_2985640,00.html
Indeed, the principal of the school where Bush "wasted 7 minutes reading My Pet Goat," is defending him. She didn't even vote for him, but she realized that panicking like Lewis Black about the U.S. being under attack in front of small children would only bring more disorder to the chaos of that day. She's right. We can't let ourselves be so phased by these things, and Bush handled himself like a true leader. The Hakagura of the Samurai stated in many ways that calmness must exist in the mind for clear thinking. So, I say, "Samurai for Bush!"
Alright, I'll back away from the Bush subject. Why, if we're just sooo greedy for oil, didn't we just spend less money and ship our carriers down to Venezuela to take over their supply. It's not like Hugo Chavez is a nice guy, anyway. But Iraq's Sadaam is worse. Have you seen the videos of Abu Ghraib before the U.S. came in? I did. You could see some of it on TV, but, to tell the truth, your biased media wouldn't like to touch this story. If you call the current abuse by G.I.s torture, which is too strong a word for it though I strongly condemn any treatment of prisoners in such a way, you should see real torture. The old Abu Ghraib videos featured tongues of prisoners being hacked out with razors by Sadaam's men, not Bush's. Arms are cut off, people are whipped senseless, and, yes, women are raped on camera in videos that were sent to their husbands as punishment for their crimes. What crimes had they committed? They spoke out against Sadaam. Indeed, if there had been a Michael Moore in Iraq who had spoken out against Sadaam, he would have been put down pretty quickly. Do you like that type of repression of speech? I don't. I hate what Moore says, but it is legal. I think he crosses the line, but he has the right to do so. Would he if Sadaam took over? Yes, if he spoke positively of Sadaam. Anything else would lead to an assured death.
Hehe, you Bushitler and Heil Bush people make me sick. Sure, I hate Bush's new Kerry/ Gore/ Hitler commercial. But Moveon.org had a commercial comparing Bush to Hitler a long time ago. And apparently you crazies haven't seen just how much flack the site took for that. And, as I said, I don't like Bush using the same tactics. So stop using your own, will you? I mean, if any of you are socialists, for I know that Mr. Moore is, just remember that Nazis were officially the "National Socialist German Workers' Party." For the people, eh? Heck, no! It's because that system has flaws that we had to fight a great war. Our G.I.s, the ones that many of you have demonized and undermined, gave up so much to fight those who wished us ill, and I think that, rather than watch movies featuring the ones who listen to Megadeath while shooting stuff from tanks, you should finally see some of our boys, America's finest, diving on grenades so that others might live, putting themselves in harm's way so that those who love them back home and even those of us who have never met them might live in freedom, sacrificing their own lives, regardless of what they might have to live for, for their friends. This probably sounds like the usual "It's about the guy next to you." message from all of those military movies, but, hard as it is to believe, it's true. Just ask my father, the 'Nam vet, or another local vet who is the father of one of my friends, whos hand was mangled and rendered almost useless due to a bullet it took from an NVA soldier's AK-47 while the man tried to rescue his mortally wounded best friend, or perhaps you could ask the family of Mr. Kroger (no relation to the grocery store) who really did use his body to shield his friends from a grenade blast at the cost of his own life. Maybe you could understand the necessity and humane side of war if you'd just talk to those who must do the dirty work. I don't care if Michael Moore could find some soldiers who opposed the war, the majority still support it. Michael Moore will keep this up until the day he dies, but our G.I.s will keep up the fight as long as our great nation remains free. Makes you wonder which cause really has more depth, doesn't it? You can't stop this war. You don't need to stop this war. We do these things not because they are easy but because they are hard. Good grief, I'm straying off topic again...this is about Moore, right? Well, he can do whatever he pleases, but you're not accomplishing anything. Maybe someday you'll understand. And maybe someday you'll learn to stop blaming every problem in the war on Mr. Bush. And, if anyone is whining, it's your corpulent, corrupt, crybaby Michael Moore.

p.s. You probably hate me now, but what can you do about it? You don't believe in guns, and K-Mart no longer sells ammo, so my pillbox of a house is liberal-proof. Have you hugged your second ammendment today?

I went to see the movie opening night with a friend. I thought it would be a complete bashing of bush. As it turns out, It's not completely his fault. Sure he is not smart enough to even respond to a terror attack and read a childerens book for 7 whole minutes, but he is a middle man.

The end of the movie really closes in favor of the lower class(maybe even republican) people of america. Moore made sure everybody won(except bush and his buddies.)

yea.. that makes no sence... learn to make arguements... war is the sorvern right of a freecountry.. shure it should be avoided but war isn't murder.. murder is what Hitler did to the jews,Mohamed Farah Adid did to his fellow somolies, Saddam to the kurds.. Those are war crimes... war cant be murder because murder is illegal in war... not killing.. murder... war is killing might be true but its something John Madden would say (becomes Madden) " Now this is a pass... what... what.. wa.. what the Q... the q... the QB wants to do, is thr... thro... throw the ball to da open reciver... who's job is to catch it..." or "Now this is a field goal.. what the kicker wants to d... do is kick the bbbbbball though the uprights."
    (I realy like Maden lol!)

Bush is a middle man in what? there has been no admnistration scandel! what do you think is happening in the world? Iraq for the first time ever is a democracy.. Thats right sovernty is given to the people of a country with out it for years.. we win.. the terrorists fail... Iraq wins.. the trial of Saddam is coming up(we all know that they will beat the hell outta him and then kill him.. we should have tried him here.. atleast we wouldn't have beaten him...), we have found chemical weapons.. the economy is rising... The USA looks in good shape.. You may think this is all being done now for the re-election well let me ask you this... wouldn't u do the same? I would.. and I bet u would too.. Dont get me wrong.. it's not that good to do this now inhopes of getting elected.. but the point is we did em.. not to re-elect bush but to free some Iraqis....

this isn't a right wing bs wagon.. actualy its the truth.. Moore has no reason to be so out-spoken.. he still gets one vote.. and he wont change aney ones opinions... u see two people who go to this movie.. Leftists(wont need 2 change opinions...) and people who see it to laugh at it( wont change there political opinions on the acount of a fiction movie.. I dont change my views because of Shrek, so why this movie....

Moore is the guy who spliced 2 speeches by charelton heston together.. how do I know.. watch the crapey boling for colimbine.. and then read the transscript.. just because Moore is many Leftists god dosn't mean im going to listen to his false-religion... its kinda stuped.. but ya'll have religious freedoms too..

War is murder. Think about it, it is not hard. You are going to another country and killing people for your cause. Killing someone against their will is murder no matter who you think is "right" or "wrong". They are still human beings and you are KILLING THEM AGAINST THERE WILL! They do not want to be killed, and they are fighting back. Is this not plain and simple to realize, our is your mind so confused.
Im going to go see Michael Moores film and come to my own conclusion. Until then I feel in my heart that Bush is shiesty son of bitch. You can keep on supporting him, and justifying is actions. But a certain song comes to my mind when I encounter mindsets like your own. You can't help it, and you are only doing what you think is right. This is understandble, because of cultural, psychological, and enivronmental reasons ....
"Forgive them Father for they know not what they do".

Present yourself as an intelligent being, and at least spellcheck your messages. And do not compare Madden to War.

Republican BUSH DOES NOT GIVE A FLYING F*CK ABOUT YOU.
