I am not registered with any party; political or otherwise. Labels are only intended to limit your frame of reference, keeping you within a very confined spectrum of thought.

When it comes to issues, I most see eye to eye with a libertarian/constitutionalist ideology, though I consider myself neither a Libertarian or Constitutionalist. I am simply pro-freedom, pro-civil liberties and pro-sovereignty.

I'm a registered Democract. At first I really identified with the party and their platforms. Free Choice, Anti-Gun, Middle-Class, Re-distributive taxes....but as of late- especially after the '04 election- it seems as though the party is losing touch. Although I'm from the northeast and tend to have a bias toward the northeast, the rest of the country does not feel that way. Hence nominating soemone from the nrtheast (kerry, clinton) is not gonna win over anyone. Moreover, it seems as though there is no fresh ideas coming out of the Democratic party. All they do is oppose the President- who is no saint, but at least he is ambitious- when they should be creative and original. Where is my party?

Bill Clinton isn't from the Northeast. He is from Arkansas. But he's a blue-blooded elitist just the same, so it really doesn't make any difference where he is from.

i once favored the democrats on the issues. but i sort of shifted to the libertarians a bit over the years. abortion should be legal, but the goal should be to have zero abortions. i personally, if i was pregnant, would not want to get an abortion in most cases, but i feel it should be legal. same with guns. i used to be really anti-gun, but the libertarians brought up a good point. it is the same for abortion and marijuana. people should have this right. they don't have to have them, but they should have the right. if you take away this right, as with marijuana and abortion, people are still going to get them. if it is used responsibly and rarely, it can be a good thing.

I believe I am a Marxist. Time will show if I am right. :)

Libertarian on most social issues, hardline on economic matters.

    Why am I a Marxist?

Because I've grown up with the philosophy that no-one should be left behind. Not a single person. I've always had sympathy for common, "ordinary people". I've never liked rich parasites, and I've always (unconsciously just up until not so long ago) been fascinated by communism. When I was a little kid, I dreamed about living in a communist society, without knowing what it actually is.

A society without the state, classes, money or markets, where people work according to ability and receive according to need.
