Anyone headed to moe.down in Turin, NY Labor Day weekend? If so, any suggestions what to bring, where to camp, etc.? I'm planning to go, never been, but would like to get the scoop from anyone who has.
What to bring---Most importantly, a good attitude, and be ready to have alot of fun. As far as where to camp--To the right of the stage, facing the mountain was alot less crowded last year, then to the left, the RV area is real nice too.
Cool, thanks, the attitude's always good, 'only gets better--I mean, you can't go wrong with moe, they have a way of bringing out the best in people... ...Right of the stage, I'll keep that in mind.
I'm going! I never miss moe.down. I haven't been able to tour much in the past year, beacause I did before and well.. I like having a home better. but I'll never miss summer camp or moe.down. have to start and end the summer in style, ya know?
Yeah, that's it, 'definitely gotta do it up right! Funny, I met a group of "moe.rons" ('not sure I care for that term, bein' one myself) at the last show I went to in Worcester, MA, these people had been following moe around the country for months doing the gypsy thing, made me wonder how they got by, but they sure seemed to be havin' a good time! Before we got into the show, my lady and I were bummin' 'cause we didn't have any smoke, so we went to the bar next door to kill some time (and some shots of tequilla), then as we were coming out, some guy behind us says "you folks look like you could burn a fatty", music to my ears... Maybe I'll see y'all there, can't wait!
this will be my 4th moe.down in a row.....BRING WARM CLOTHES !!!!!!2 years ago it was 38-40 saturday night during the show....and WINDY !!!!! last year noticed leaves starting to change at the hill tops.
