I didn't laugh at the last pic. just sort of resignedly expressed a depressed half smile. not your fault. I then made a picture that is not in the slightest bit funny. it is just upsetting. i best keep it unposted, here on my hard drive. over 'n out.
The thing is, it isn't that funny. It's a bizarre crass irony that's almost bordering on sarcasm. You have to be on the right level to see the funny side. People can easily accuse me of being a twat by climbing on the bandwagon of human emotion ... or they can see the stupidity of the media's stiff upper lip attitude and see how unreal it all is. The site will probably die soon anyway ... I can't see it getting that popular
aye, 'tis a "laugh or you'll just cry" balance that one teeters on. i think your site is just as valid as other analyses of the situation.
Jack Straw said,"The time for excuses for terrorism is over," He added. "The terrorists have struck across the world, in countries allied with the United States, backing the war in Iraq and in countries which had nothing whatever to do with the war in Iraq."
Intelligence 'warned of Iraq terror link' http://www.guardian.co.uk/attackonlondon/story/0,16132,1531729,00.html Compare and contrast the "twisted logic of Islamist terrorists" with the twisted logic of stating that this new phenomenon of homegrown British Islamic terrorism has absolutely nothing to do with our foreign policy... I mean, the very idea that our actions could have consequences!
We have a prime minister that thinks its cool to say " Lets step it up," he sounds like vanilla ice for gods sake. This is too big an issue to to be saying things on par with"stop, hammer time," Come on lets at least say something construtive, and honest, he's a buzz phrase Pm. Haha, Paul Man, jack straws face is priceless in that one.
