Is it possible for magic mushrooms to grow somewhere theyv never grown before (at least never to my knowledge). I live in scotland and I was in my back garden today and i noticed a mushroom which looks identical to the kind me and my mates usually pick in the farmers fields just behind our town. Could these have been magic mushrooms growing a little out of season (ther was only 2) or just some other kind that looked similar?

It's possible. Just make sure you can identify it correctly before you do anything with it. It could be poisonous, you never know.

Pick 'em, slice off a bit of skin, and see if they turn blue. If they do, then possibly, yes.
