i think the artist with the most imagination is Rene Magritte, just wanted to know who you thought had the most.
Rene Magritte is a personal favourite Edvard Munch's work can really move me, even when he focused on the mundane, mesmerising work. Jackson Pollock, but not all of his work. Gillian Ayers, Jonathon Lasker and Fiona Rae really do it for me at the moment tho'
robert rauschenberg, he was working at the ab-ex/pop art cusp, but he's absolutely brilliant, he did the combine with the stuffed goat and tire and marcel duchamp i think was hands down the most inventive and avant-garde artist of the 20th century, maybe ever...he revolutionalized the way art was produced... he did "fountain" which was the urinal flipped upside down, amongst other brilliant works...
well i'm sure EVERYONE has the same amount of imagination.. but not everyone Shows it.. or has relased it yet?!.. meh i think everyone is a Great artist..
erm...of course they do...especially kids...most people just ignore their imagination as they mature tho' *shrugs*
i my self like salvador dali and heronomous bosch (maybe not spelt right) i think their work is brilliant . i love drawing with charcoals my self and different pencils. when i was living in a squat way back then i painted giant mushrooms on the walls it was awesome !!
Bosch absolutely facinates me, I can stare into The Garden of Earthly Delights for hours..... The etchings of William Blake I like as well........two artists of immense scope and vision
