It's sad that in 10 states the majority voted to legalize it for Medical purposes yet the federal Government decided that they were going to trump on Democracy and not allow it for even that. It's sad that they never learn that Prohibition does not work. It's time to legalize it.
The supreme court ruling that allowed the government to trump state laws was a battle over states rights vs federal rights, not for or against medical marijuana. The judges were supposed to rule weather or not it was legal for the federal government to enforce its own laws, not if medical marijuana was illegal or not.
I see, that's not what the article I read on it, but then again you can't really trust the media to put out the whole truth anyway. You have the read the case then. Still not right for them to trump on State Rights unless it's violating the Constitution.

Speaking of growing marijuana...around where I live on I-84, the police found 17 Christmas tree-sized marijuana plants growing on the side of the road... How fucking cool is that? lol. I'm sure they were all destroyed though Then again, I'm sure some officers took some for themselves...lol.
