Oh, god, not another beatles apprecitation thread. They are good, granted. Many would say very good, granted. But, there are too many of these threads!



But, to answer(ish), I much prefer there later stuff (white album, sgt pepper)

I always enjoyed Day Tripper but then again just about everything is great.

 

I think the latest albulm I have in my playlists is like 1998.

 

the beatles were a wonderous band that stunned the world and put a dent music history that will soon not be forgotten. But for me, i have other music to listen to. I rarley put on a beatles disk nowadays.


but anyhow my favorite beatles songs are "Dear Prudence, Within You Without You, and, In My Life"

im in a polka band that covers maxwell's silver hammer.. its a wonderfully funny song.

i agree with the original poster, theyre can never be too many beatles threads, if you dont like em, dont read em. cuz honestly, i have nothing better to do right now than talk about how awesome the beatles are.. it's better then those silly flirty threads...

anyway michelle is probably one of my favourite songs, ive learned the guitar and bass parts, and theyre really genius, especially the bass part, i would recomend learning it if you play guitar or bass... rubber soul is my fav album. i love sgt pepper and magical mistery tour, but i think at that point they were so drugged up they wrote really redundant lyrics.. great music, but i just cant get into those silly words...

but yeah their really early stuff is so great, it's pop rock perfected. i dunno... musicly im obsessed with them, i play bass in an indie rock band, and i always think "how would paul write this part.."

 

I like all of them except Revolution 9. But i'd say that my three mostfavorites of all are Strawberry Fields Forever and Lucy in The Sky with Diamonds and I am the Walrus

 

Umm...I could be going "The Who are so much better, and that's a fact!"

Saying IMO just means, well, you know....yeah..
