No. I used to like them when I was 13 or something... It was like 'wooow, hotel california is a great song!' But when you listen to that song more than 5 times it becomes so fuckin'... pathetic.
i love that hotel california song its like a story with great music. i LOVE April Wine n Van Halen n Aerosmith etc....
i physically can't. my mom force fed me a diet of them when i was younger, and now, well i just think they suck.

Those are the BEST . I'm such a maniac %)...
well, for one thing, their words are stupid and the music's bland, theyre supposed to be jerks in reall life from what ive heard, and they ripped of jethro tull of all people... here's the deal... the eagles went on tour with jethro tull before they really broke out, it was around when tull's album "benefit" came out.. now there's a song that tull played at almost every show called "we used to know", and it has the EXACT same chord progression as hotel california, which the eagles wrote after the tour... so there ya go mister eagles...
The Eagles are the kind of band that have an album or two that most can (well, at least that's how it is with me...) to listen to. Probably Hotel California or maybe Hell Freezes Over (the DVD)... I have the album somewhere around the house. After a three or four times, I also get really irritated with their music... Then once in awhile I listen to it for a change. Generally... they frustrate me. I was going to see them in concert this Spring, but I went and saw B.B. King instead. The only person that never really seemed to be bland or an asshole is Joe. I asked a question about his guitars one time and he responded. He used to be a raging alcoholic, haha. He would mix drinks onstage all the time and I heard he usually carried gin, vermouth, and olives with him....
