ok I have a kind of a vampire fetish, so I need some good vampire-ish movies, like more resent ones, like queen of the damned, or underworld, with some hot vampire girls in them...any suggestions?
Vamp had Grace Jones. The Hunger had a good looking urbane vampire couple. You could also check out the Blade series. I understand that they have slutty wanna be goth girl types in em too.
Vampire flicks: - From Dusk till Dawn 1 & 3 - The Lost Boys - Martin - Bram Stoker's Dracula - Salem's Lot - Interview with a Vampire - Tales from the Crypt: Bordello of Blood - Blade 1 & 2 - Cronos - Dracula 2000 - Dracula 3000 - Fright Night - Near Dark - Underworld - Vampires (1998) There's plenty more out there of course, but there's some off the top of me head They're not all your typical vampire flicks obviously.. Blade is more of an adventure movie w/ vampires thrown in -- same goes for Underwood really. And Dracula 3000 is actually one of the funniest movies I have ever seen -- though sadly it was not meant to be. Personally, I love Dusk till Dawn, the Lost Boys, Salem's Lot and a bunch more too. Underworld - wasn't that the movie where the LARPer company sued the movie studio for ripping them off even though their own source material was a blatant ripoff of the Lost Boys, Nosferatu, and Interview with the Vampire? And didn't Anne "hey, can I sell you something" Rice threaten the LARP game company with retaliatory legal action because if they were going to claim exclusive ownership of their ideas wouldn't it behoove them to make sure said ideas were original?
:X "the Hunger" - yes!! !!!!!!!!! :X :X fine actors, and close to reality!! ( i mean if i ever met vampires now they 'd look almost like those from this movie: sexy , independant, good looking) and Bowie is perfect there .
Just a personal opinion- never ever watch Vampire 2000. There was one, I repeat, ONE good idea in the whole movie (the story about the origins of Dracula). And even that was screwed by the dumb plot. Certainly one of the stupidest vampire movies.
Dracula 2000 was fun in its own way, the one thing that did piss me off however was the vampire skull in the crypt whose fangs were his two FRONT teeth
