    Hey everyone,

So i'm goin to this rad 3 day party on a beach and of course there's gonna be a LOT of pot goin around throughout the tents and trees. This is my problem. I just had a minor surgery to remove some tissue from my chest 6 days ago. For this type of surgery it is recommended that you can go back to work a week later. The party is exactly a week later, but I still have small bandages on where the incisions where made. So, i'm just wondering if there's a medical person of sorts out there that might have an opinion on this.

Do you think it would be advisable to smoke pot in such a state?

    Thanks!

Tokes is right, but if anyone is in this situation, you can probably ask your doctor. They cant tell anyone that you merely asked about it, not even your parents.

unless they took something out of your lung, you're good to go. Just take it easy so you don't bust any stitches and you'll be fine. Have fun!

I've read that you're generally supposed to refrain from smoking for 2 weeks after surgery. Then again, they also advise you to refrain from sex for that long and I'm pretty sure no one does that. =P I'd say go ahead with it, but take it just a bit easier than usual. There is still a whole summer to get stoned into retardation...

however, do not listen to DejaVoo, i mean, "just do it, who cares" ? (obvviously Trancehead does or he wouldnt ask) and um.. "stiches look so cool!" ?! whatever

Done it after- well, more surgeries than I care to think about. No problem.

BUT, tobbacco smoke is EXTREMELY detrimental to new skin growth, so stay away from smokers
