i noticed this place doesnt have a spirituality forum, so i figure this is good as any. any of you all familiar with either of these two techniques of coming into the moment? after you try them and realize how amazing they are and how much potential you truely have as a human, its almost like the way you used to meditate was like banging your head against a brick wall over and over again...

i'm raw food at the moment, i definitely feel an increase of clarity in my perception of everything, and i can feel the difference - my body is happy. anytime i would eat cooked food (during the past few days) i would get really sick within a minute of eating it, and it made me realize that what we put in our mouth doesn't just disappear, our body does something with it and it's used all over and throughout, which makes me feel all the more better about eating what the earth gives us- we've all got dinner in our own backyards if we'd just realize it

exactly, clarity in perception is the perfect way to describe it... im really glad you discovered raw veganism, your really lucky in a lot of ways i think...and you can really tell the difference, its so nice :)

i dont feel really sick when i eat anything processed or cooked, but i definatley feel some clouds of illusion sweep through my mind and a huge decrease of energy. i did feel verrrrrry poisoned when i did a 2 day fast improperly once and it was a very scary experience, i guess you have to go through hell to get to heaven, literally. it was sooo nice afterwards though, having everything in my body flowing and working so smoothly, very healing.

another way to look at it is, i dont know how many of you here get high... but when you pay money to get high and smoke pot, chances are you, your going to eat a lot of food if you can. so not only did you pay too much for herb, your wasting lots of valuable food. but when your fasting or just eating incredibly cheap fruits and vegetables and peanuts and wheat germ and whatever raw recipes exist, your getting high AND saving money and reducing the amount of junk you consume and the footprint you leave behind on this earth. especially if your not buying really unhealthy meat or un-organic animal products, or any un-organic products or animal products really. all of them are terrible for you, and totally mess your energy up i think. not to say some amazing tasting vegan products can mess up your energy too, but leaving meat out is a huge step towards a pure healthy diet. its evolution really. its sordove like fixing your soul and taking scratches off it and making your karma more positive. plus, when you get high the healthy way, it actually lasts...

    I totally agree!

Glad other people are aware of their bodies as well, and know the difference between the foods they eat.

Vegetables and fruit actually produce energy in your body. Cooked foods usually take energy to digest, more energy then they give you because they arent even living.

Living food gives you amazing clarity, vitality, health, energy, positivity, and a calm, clear handed mind.
