Hey, Youth hostels and campings are cheapest for overnight staying.. Most campsites have huytter=some cabins for 4 people.. wild camping is allowed in Norway..stay away a bit from the nearest house..don't make a fire...and leave the place in a clean condition.. I stayed mostly in Youth hostels or even slept wild(sleeping bag) www.vandrerhjem.no/english P.S.cigarettes and alcohol are very expensiv..
Norway deserves these compliments.. for me it's always a pleasure to go back there.. I worked on a farm once in Hallingdal(Al) best scenery=Sognefjord..Balestrand etc... Flam-Leirdal-Helleshylt-Geiranger.. certainly loveley nature.. www.geiranger.no One place i missed on my trip are the Lofoten islands near Bodo.. For the rest..i'm planning that motorbike trip...but it is a dream..
