alright i gotta question i need answered, i should post this under the paranoid forum. i got a job a week ago, took the piss test and failed so they fired me (understandable). the manager of the company was real nice and said she'd put down i resigned due to scheduling conflicts. for my new job i need to get finger printed (no drug test needless to say), but im wondering if i get printed for this job can it somehow be traced back to the doctors office that i failed a drug test, or is that patient confidentiality??? does finger printing only trace the criminal background or legal trouble??? help me!!! :) i dont want to look like a loser once again....jess

technically they could trace paper trails back to that drug test but that would be extremly time consuming and expensive so i highly doubt they would do something like that...

i think that you failing the drug test would be confidential, and the only way they could find out if you were on drugs was to give you a drug test themselves, but i'm not sure.. thats just what i think.

yeah that would work, but it may seem to obvious, but yet again. who cares. because you wont have to see those people again or have to work for them

maybe if they contact your last job they can find out, but think about it the fingerprints are for crimes commited, serious crimes, not weed, because we all know smoking is NOT a crime :)
