Why do neo-cons put up their stupid bumper-stickers and magnets and shit that say this phrase? Is it supposed to justify the war? Why do they act so damn proud about it? Personally, I don't feel that their war has anything to do with my freedom, since they can't even target the source of the attacks.

personally, i think that freedom is infact free, but somehow the human race has been foolish enough to trade that freedom for government, who puts a price on freedom.

but yeah, that pisses me off almost as much as "support our troops"

Meh. I have no problem supporting the troops. I just don't agree with the government or the war itself.

I believe they should put up "Oil Isn't Free!" bumper-stickers instead..

"Freedom isn't free" is in fact a true statement. The question is, freedom from what?

To me, freedom is not free in the sense, that we have to be constantly working for achieving it. The problem is, there are a bunch of people working in the wrong direction.............

.... and lick on my balls! (er um the song)
Freedom will always be free, it's a state of soul, of mind, of body, and the decisions that we make. We have become far too acustomed to having it defined for us. In a truly free society we would not see the gov as we do today.... and how many people really want true freedom? Most people are content to follow a work schedule, an entry in the datebook, shop on wednesdays because it's double coupon day,.......
Most Americans have no clue what true freedom really is, they've been conditioned and trained to accept a definition of freedom which is dictated by monetary gain. One can only have so much freedom based upon one's material worth. This is wrong and we all know it. Predisposed judgements of those 'less than' us render the very idea of freedom perverse.

so.. umm yeah, fuggin break it. Destroy the machine.

    exactly.
because people think freedom is something that must be granted to them by some government or other high power.

  14. freedom is free....... it's all this infrastructure shit that costs all these lives and money.....

if we all wanted to run around solo and naked freedom would not be a problem, it's just that people want stuff..... stuff sucks......
