sorry if the title sounds insulting...but I'm sitting at the library right now and when I turned around that was the title of the book right behind me. Now if you're really a dummie I don't think you could get the careers in this book. **as in finding a mate, finding a career should involve both your head & your heart** what careers do you think are good for someone with a college degree? If you could have any career you wanted, what would it be?
I don't really want a career. My dream would be to live off the land, travel around seeing everything. Backpack the world! Barter and trade for what supplies I need to replenish, or maybe a york peppermint patty, god I love those things.......
I've heard some people call that being a "land-lover" or I like "student of life...& still learning cuz its on the job training". But either way I love that attitude.
I wanna be like the guy from "Kung fu". I will just aimlessly wander around, helping people, and making friends. That sounds like fun.
I loved that show...but I guess I'm a little to chicken wander around without knowing where/how I'll eat & sleep & do laundry. Liked my son's idea before...yrs ago I found Northwest youth corps in Oregon and he worked for them anywhere from3-6 months a yr. They traveled some thru OR,WA,& ID and he got paid to go camping, fix/built trails & other outdoorsy stuff
probably something along the lines of what my father does, but higher up. something like the Athletic Director for a school system...or something along the lines of working with kids and sports....
if I could have any career I wanted.... I'd be a best-selling cookbook author. Sit at home and tinker with recipes, and make a whackload of money off my books (which would, of course, have pictures. Cookbooks without pics are lame)
yeah, I usually like pics in cookbooks too so I know what the food is "sopposed" to look like...unfortunately mine cooking never looks as good & it sometimes takes twice as long to make then what the book says it will. I had a job for a VERY SHort while....cooking in McDonald's but that sucked.
My chosen career would be a writer of childrens books. I think when you have an idea of your chosen career, you have the idea of the lifestyle that would go with it too. I just imagine sitting in a big, comfy chair in a house overlooking the ocean, writing all morning, then doing whatever in the afternoon...
