Now I don’t believe in all this conspiracy stuff because when looked at it only seems to be based on supposition, innuendo and biased opinion. But as a thought experiment let us look at it from the viewpoint of Rat and his fellow conspirators and try and see what the problems are and try and see what would be the solutions. Rat et al believe in a generation spanning conspiracy of enormous power and reach that has been behind nearly every major event in the history of at least the past 100 years if not more. This conspiracy has its fingers into everything with representatives watching and controlling. This conspiracy must therefore involve thousands if not tens of thousands in the US alone. It seems that according to Rat that they are in every branch of the US government trying to subvert the ‘American’ way (whatever that is). So let us say that Rat and his fellow believers got into power tomorrow what are they to do about this situation? How do they tell the guilty from the innocent? This is an ultra secret conspiracy and there isn’t such a thing as a card carrying illuminati so there are no lists to go on and could you trust the list if it appeared? So how to you vet all the employees of the US government? Who does the vetting? Well the classic method in such cases is to find someone you suspect then ‘convince’ them to tell you the names of others then ‘convince’ them to give you names and so on. Of cause you would need to suspend the normal processes of law since it would seem difficult to find evidence without such ‘confessions’ and those type of ‘confessions’ are normally not accepted by any sane legal system. So that is the people on the ground the foot soldiers of the conspiracy it’s arms but you would also have to cut of the head. The people at the top according to Rat are the Rothschild’s and other Jewish bankers and wealthy ‘traitors’. Just what evidence is there against them ad what would they be charged with? So far I haven’t seen anything that Rat etc have produced that could be called hard evidence. So presumably you would need to get evidence by raiding their homes and offices and seizing all paperwork and other records? At the same time to stop them sing their wealth you would presumably need to seize or freeze the personal and company funds of most of the people you suspected of being in on the conspiracy. The problem is that I’m not sure that would be allowed under the laws of the US but then you could once again suspend the normal processes of the law and go after whoever the conspiracy theory community can think up?
You seem to be insisting that we claim it is Jews. This is what I think: there are people, known to some as Zionists, who are already ultra rich and powerful, and their view of a perfect world would be the one world government with 2 classes, elite and slaves. but this view isn't the prettiest therefore they hide in the background while they influence policy and public through media and legislation. many zionists are judaic bloodwise, but they are not jews at all. they hide behind the jews so that if they are accused they can say "you're anti-semetic!" they are using jews as a tool, much like other arabs are used as tools, to carry out events, to scare the public into submission. i just wanted to say that cuz its a tad irritating that people associate these possibliites with a "jewish conspiracy". those words are enough to turn away an uninformed mind, seeing as they will read it and think its hateful nazi literature. just my opinion.
What are we to do? Im sure our strength will come in numbers eventually. so all we can do for now is try to wake some people up to the fact that the globalist’s Are putting their plan for a new world order into full gear - not because I "desperately want to find some reason in a confusing and irrational world", but because their ‘scary pissed off muslim' story isn’t going to get me on my knees begging for some protection. maby your right mr.government, if you make it manditory for us all to carry a biometric id card at all times, only then will it be completely impossible for these shadowie arabs to blow me up, or at least decrease the so-and-so hundred million to one chance of me being blown up by one of these evil terrorist. oh wait, i forgot you were the terrorists. how confusing. ive seen all the 9/11 evidence, its clear that the US government, at the very least knew it was going to happen, knew how it was going to happen and knew when it was going to happen.. All this is an absolute certainty. and anybody who bothers to investigate the countless amount of available evidence on the subject would think likewise. Once people realise the truth behind such events, they dont just sit back and say 'oh those scallywags in washington, they sure have some sense of humour', well, some might, but others can then look at Iraq and Afghanistan and further question the motives behind the invasion of the region, and in doing so they stumble across a shit load of other weird shit. so to answer your question again balbus, "what are we to do?" You could start by opening your eyes. maby turn off your tv, take a break from Sky news and go see what all the fuss is all about... here, let me give you a head start www.google.com
"pushing conspiracy theory why?" I'll tell you why...... I look damn sexy in a tin foil hat and faraday cages are cool........ sorry, feeling jovial tonight... please continue your serious debate and ignore my levity.....
** Boring I thought I had made it clear that I was asking what is to be done from the hypothetical position of a majority of people agreeing with Rat’s conspiracy theory. I first asked “Let us say that everything in these stories was true, what does Pressed Rat or any other conspiracy theorist want us to do about it?” I was wondering what people were meant to do even if they believed the conspiracy theories, do they vote when Rat seems to say that wouldn’t help or do they try and organise when Rat says that wouldn’t help? If you wish to reply to this part please do so. ** I then postulated “so let us say that Rat and his fellow believers got into power tomorrow what are they to do about this situation?” I set up a hypothetical situation where conspiracy theorist were given power and wondered what they would do. ** So let us say people have turned off their TV sets, have taken a break from Sky News and have for some inexplicable reason chosen to believe what Rat et al have told them. What then. What are we to do? **
Thanks for the paraphrasing, your a nice guy. for a start, i agree with rat. Americans in particular are wasting time queuing up at their electronic voting machines for a number of reasons. left right both the same, controlled by the same people, no way to tracking your vote as its counted by a computer... basically all they need is bodies at the booths, doesnt matter whether you pick giant douche or turd sandwich(to reference south park). If people didnt show up to vote it would be a nasty thorn in the side of the puppet masters. This could be a wide parallel, the globalists are counting on society to play into their hands time and time again. If people could see these weaknesses and exploit them more often, it could be a path towards us somehow regaining some power back. but for that to begin, we fist need people to stop complaining, to stop hiding from the fact that this is a terrible thing thats happening and the worry is that one way or another we will have to fight these guys in a violent war for our liberty. if not you, your children. Ok thats easy.. First objective would be to change the monetary system and give the state total control over a countries economy rather than the international bankers. If this could be achieved, then a government would be able to do whats right for the people not what gains the most profit from them. this would be the only way of tackling the corruption and removing the globalists dicks from our mouths and give the people back control over their lives. Setting up a democracy that does its job wouldnt be a bad idea, and just incase you forgot, in a democracy officials are elected by the people to serve the people, not to control them (also not to blow them up or fly planes into their offices). I could probably go and write my own doctrine on what the plan would be. but its easy enough for anyone who cares about humanity to contrive. Our power is in numbers. does it not make sense to you that if enough people realise the full extent of the curruption and tyranny thy might just get fed up enough to revolt? i mean, no doubt we will out number these guys, possibly a couple hundred million times over. its just a matter of getting there before the military gets to us.
Boring So you let me get this clear are you saying that all voting is a waste of time? If so, doesn’t that help the ‘conspirators’? I mean only some 25-30% of Americans normally vote in an US president. If less people vote then it means they just have less people to ‘bribe’ or manipulate into voting the way they want? As you say if you had the numbers wouldn’t it be better to flood the polling stations with people that are voting for change? You either get in and change things or if they lost even when it was obvious that the vote had gone their way it would make the corruption obvious and make opposition legitimate? But according to Rat even if you had the numbers to vote or even revolt those would be easily taken over by the conspirators? ** First objective would be to change the monetary system and give the state total control over a countries economy rather than the international bankers. I’m unsure what you mean? In what sense do you think that the ‘monetary system’ could be controlled by the state? Rat has in the past called for the nationalisation of all the major banks in the US, are you thinking along the same lines? “then a government would be able to do whats right for the people not what gains the most profit from them” But what things would be “right for the people”? I mean someone with leftwing views would have a very different idea of what is good for ‘the people’ than those on the political right?
As a conspiracy theory supporter, I wonder why people in general are so quick to dismiss anyone who finds a more credible and logical sequence of events to explain some historical event that they found to be unsatisfactorily and implausibly explained to them. Like JFK, countless anomalies, inconsistencies, and errors made many very astute and curious people doubt the truth of the published version of events. The past 40 years has proven that there was more to the conspiracy theory than the average person thought. Is it so hard to believe that those in power do secret things to stay in power? Who wouldn't? I have no faith in the media to be honest. Or the govt to serve my interests. The opposite. I am sure the media spins its stories, and the govt works towards taking my freedom away, not helping me be free. Logical to me.
It is easy to perpetuate a 'conspiracy theory' when you ignore every other evidence that does not support the 'theory' you are holding dear.
Quite. I've never seen one conspiracy theory that stood up to even the slightest scrutiny. They're just a hobby for wackos.
Conspiracy theory’s are ok when they are a way of looking at reality rather than becoming a persons reality. So to take BlackGuard‘s example you can look at the assassination of Kennedy then the evidence and you may come to believe that their was a conspiracy but are unable to prove it. Or you can start of believe that there is a conspiracy of Jewish bankers or seven-foot lizards and claim they assassinated Kennedy then go looking for the evidence. ** The problem I have is that much of the arguments surrounding conspiracy theories is about minutia rather than asking the question – What can be done.
Dear Matthew "Don't get this bit ?" It often gets bogged down in details Just look at all the 'evidence' for the Kennedy assasination and where it leads. To me people should be asking how we can make our societies better not odd bits of evidence that prove Kennedy was actually beamed up by the aliens from planet zog who beamed down a dead clone, or whatever. Conspiracy theories can be interesting but a distraction if taken to extreme
I see, so me thinking a lone gun man shot JFK and then was shot by another person for no other reason than they 'just did' .. and leaving it at that, is a good thing ?. I understand now... thanks
What I’m trying to say is that while people might have an opinion on Kennedy’s death it doesn’t stop them from thinking about their society and how they would like to improve it. However some on the forum have let the conspiracy theories take them over so they are unable to think about their society, it’s problems and the means to improve it without reference to the conspiracy. Think about it if you believe in a world-wide generation spanning conspiracy that is all powerful and able to control anything it wishes, what can you do? Any organisation can be controlled by it and corrupted so there is little point voting or organising a revolution. So what is left to you? Well taking endlessly about the conspiracy. Every little detail every little quote every little scrap of information that seems to back it up. You stop doing anything real you stop thinking about how you can help, you are looking in not out, you have become part of the problem not a solution.
I agree that Rat kinda goes off wihtout any direction, but does he really need to? If he has no direction to go, or anyone for that matter who has something important to say, does that mean they shouldn't say it? If we don't communicate our ideas then nothing will ever get done. I also agree that some theories sound crazy, but if you research into them (actually research) you will find that truth is stranger than fiction.
It is alright going on about something .. repetition is a bit of a waste of energy though... i.e starting a thread [it going cold] starting a new one about the same thing.. over and over.
FNA If we don't communicate our ideas then nothing will ever get done. But that is what I’ve often asked of Rat – what does he want us to do – and so far he doesn’t seem to have much of a clue. ** As to crazy theories having validity you would have to give me the crazy theory, because every idea has to be seen on it’s merits. The problem with many conspiracy theories is that much of what those who believe in them call ‘proof’ is in fact nothing more than supposition, innuendo and opinion, that does not stand up to scrutiny.
