Do we all agree that Dylan is the absolute master of songwriting and poetry?

man can't sing, he uses that to his advantage, but in a conventional sense his voice is shit....=

I think there is a lot of truth in what you say, however, I sincerely believe that he is imperceptibly superior to thos that are below....

 

i think he has a nice voice, many many many disagree but for some reason i like it.

 

I think he is ultra-real and should be ultrarespected forevermore for being THE beacon of rrealness.

Well the topic is about his skill at songwriting, and even though I like his voice the fact that some of you don't doesn't take away from his ability to write good songs... So yeah I would pretty much agree he is the "master of songwriting".

 

yep Dylan's the greatest songwriter. as for him being a bad singer or what...he's an awesome singer. he's got an unusual voice but he can sing. just try singing a few of his songs.

I agree with that, his voice is unique. When you hear Bob Dylan, even if it's the first time you've heard the song you instantly know who it is.

Agreed. His voice is awful in my opinion.

The Lennon/McCartney combination, although in ways influenced by Dylan, amazes me more with their diversity and the way they complimented each other. The black and white of music.
