Anyone into them? A song called "Amputations" features some beautiful quotes from Glenn W. Turner at the beginning and end of the song. Here is the excerpt from the ending... "i pray to god, that one day he'll grant me the power to reach out my hand [to all of you] and give you instant relief...but you dont have instant relief...you've been hooked, you've been croooked, you've been lied to so many times, you're suspicious, mind you, and when the right thing comes along you dont' know its there...when i'm here knocking on the front door, you're out the back door looking for four leaf clovers, and when you find it you think someone is playing you [for a] dirty fool...what's the angle?...you look for an excuse...in this modern day in age we have instant coffee, instant tea, and instant disbelief...that's the reason we never become anything, its because we'll never believe in ourselves, we'll always listen to the mass majority....if everybody's making fun of you and criticizing, you know you're on the right track, cause most of the people ain't got it....."
Why not? Just because it's not soley about weed? Music, in my book, goes hand and hand with getting high so why shouldn't this be acceptable on here?
Dont mean to sound like a prick... but no its not acceptable on here... thats why they got a section SOLEY about music... If its not about weed, then im sure theres a catagory for it.. find it.
Maybe he's blazin though, and he was askin' if we like it while we're baked. I like Death Cab alright, they're not too bad. I've only heard them a couple of times though, and I've been high each time.
i enjoy death cab alright. "something about airplanes" is a wonderful album. The other one i have heard "Transatlanticism" i just havent really been able to get into so much
Sorry SirTokes, I apologize for any hardship or inconvenience that I have caused you or anyone else affected by this improper post... And just for the record I was really high when I started this thread earlier. Death Cab is an amazing band that I love to listen to when high. Penguin you really have to sit down and listen to Transatlanticism, it's a great album. Track one is my favorite off there, 'The New Year'.
