Why do people when high on PCP chug milk?

    Hi,

I recently saw a person under the influence of PCP who was chugging milk. I was told that anything less than whole milk wasn't good, and that chocolate and strawberry were the best.

I'm wondering if any of you know whether this person was chugging milk out of an enhanced satisfaction for milk drinking while intoxicated, or whether there was some property of milk that was used to lessen the effects of the drug.

I've read on acidifying urine and blood pH, however, i would think something like ascorbic acid or cranberry juice would be more desireable.

Any comments would be appreciated. It seems like drinking milk may be some urban legend to calm yourself down.

    Thank you.

Lactose can reduce the effect of a drug, im pretty certain. But when really high on PCP , I seriously doubt it would help.

    I hate milk.

maybe being in a dissasociated state, the thick but very smooth texture of milk is rather unique and perhaps just works very well with being on pcp.
