I'm still on the pill right now, havent finished my pack for this month but i've already started my period

does this mean its not working?? i'm a little freaked out and not sure what to make of it.

Are you on a "mini pill?" These often cause spotting. Also, if your pill doesn't have enough estrogen for your body, it wil cause spotting. Talking to the doctor who prescribed the Pill for you is the best thing you can do.

That happens to me. My doc thinks nothing of it. Sometimes I really think my doc isn't on the ball, though. You should ask yours about it.

I think it is because you didn't stop taking the pill for that week...

How long have you been on this pill? The first thing that popped into my head is that if you recently went on it or changed brands (within past 3 or 4 months), it may take a while for your body to adjust...

    Otherwise, I can't help ya.

go through another month to see if it happens again. I'd recommend using condom until you talk to your doc about it.

That's exactly what happened to me when I first started BC. I was on Orthotryclen. It happened until I quit taking that kind.

Alex that happens to me quite often and I've been on the pill for over two years. Nothing to worry about.
