Got a heads up for medical marijuana in Fresno, Calif. A person under the email qualityhomemeds@hushmail.com ripping off legitimate users, by offering relief, and keeping the persons money. I am sure I’m not the first and hopefully I will be the last.

I have the person’s address, and am considering turning that and email correspondence w/ him over to the authorities. I am unsure of what penalties I will incur by revealing this information. So, if anyone has any ideas of the difficulties ahead, please advise. I believe that I am in a better situation if I work w/ the authorities to rid us of this fake that prays on the ill to make a living. I have no record and have legal medical clearance.

I know the majority of people out there, will say, “How could you be so dumb as to facilitate this type of situation?” And yes, I agree, but do to cost and other factors, many seeking relief are forced to find alternative sources and ways to obtain legal medical marijuana.

I am not a teenager, that can walk to the bathroom and find a source, nor am I one to hit the bars or drug scene to find pain relief. As a responsible adult only wishing to stop the pain, and limited cash reserves to do so, the balancing act between legal/illegal is continually getting more difficult. I am looking for input on how to best handle this situation. I believe my money is gone. So be it. But I refuse to all this to happen to others.

    Please advise.

    Burn his house down, haha

But seriously. The way I see it, it's legal in CA to sell med marijuana, right? I assume you have to have licences and stuff, did this guy have them? If he did, well, I guess you can call the feds, anonymously if you want. I'm not really a fan of getting the law (especially the feds) involved for the sake of the greater issue, my distaste for federal involvement in marijuana laws, especially when it's legal in the state. But if you have to do it to shut the asshole down, do it. It's the height of depravity to prey on the sick. (which is why i distrust our medical-pharmeceutical establishment, but that's another issue).

If you do that and nothing happens, go to my first option. Vigilante justice is better than no justice at all. Be creative here, there's all kinds of good ways to screw him over and stop his, yes, I'll say it, evil dealings.

    actually jo_k_er_man...
The Calif. State law still makes it legal in Cali for medical users. We are subject to federal prosecution, but not state. And the chances of a federal agent showing up at my door and finding anything more than a quarterpound is 0% and since I do not resale, but use personally, the fed's have no interest in me. Therefore I am still protected from local and state authorities. We are just people in pain looking for relief, not profit.

I wouldn't contact the feds on this, they might turn it into another story that denounces medical marijuana somehow. Get the local cops on him, if he is ripping people off, they will get him for it. Nothing would happen to you, since they are state cops, and follow there own states laws.

Are you sure there are no pot clubs in San Diego? California is known for its extraordinary amount of them.
