well if rove goes down he's taking bush with him, so that sort of crack, a new credibility gap of watergate proportions, a shattering of confidence could help.... who's really gonna follow cheney?


we really do need a tet offensive though, I'm thinking ramadan for that, something that hurls support for the war into a downward spiral, remember, the "60's" as archetypes know them, the real protest movement woodstock, et. didn't hit full swing until 1968, w\ martin's and robbies assasinations and the tet offensive, so I'm still holding out hope for a shattering of what we have

there was a consumerist culture then too, go to the library, pick up some microfiche (microfilm what have you) and look at news papers, especially adverts, very similar, not perhaps in style, the web was different, but the bait was the same, luxury and muscle cars (seen the new GTO?)

It would be a lot of hard work for us to start it but i think in the end or the beginning it would be worth it.

the music now is all crap and all corporate. today it's all emotions and love(sex and make out) to begin a revolution, music needs to be about trips (acid) and love (actual love, not that make out)

concert prices need to be a $1.50 like they used to be

hey! im really offended by all you old farts out there who think that the only way to start a revolution or have good music or have fun is to get wasted, have sex and then go protest. of course we mut protest and we are! but the gettin stoned, goin on trips and havin orgies does nothin to help the current condition the world is in and that what bein a hippie is all about, isnt it? changing the world for the better and helpin one another? and a response to the idiot who started this conversation, most of us arent wasted or apathetic. that is one thing im fighting aginst. stereo-types and apathy.

 

you know even though the hippie revolution hasn't happened yet doesn't mean that it won't happen i means that it will take time. i read that there are different eras and they are ruled by that specific starsing for abour 2,000 years, for example from the year 1 untll 2000 was the age of piceces, and that meant a lot of technological advances now from 2001 until the year 4000 is the age of aquarius now im not making it up the 5th demention had something going now during the next 2000 years there is supposed to be a major effect on the enviornment for the good and world peace and to put it bluntly it is coming and it just takes time

hey i agree with u guys, the mainstream is promoting hippy when in reality, the're far from it. but if u look around especialy where i live, there are some people who look hippie but not mainstream. like with the whole dreads goin on and stuff. but yeah if u guys really truly feel u want to make a diference in this world go for it and dont give a shit what anyone else thinks.
