I ran across these guys when I heard Jack Johnson was doing another tour.(not that big of a JJ fan, just not too much music comes through here, and he usually does) So I went and downloaded one of their shows. These guys are so amazing(in my opinion), so of course I got a few more. Saw them at Wakarusa this year, and they blew my mind. In my opinion they will be the "next big thing", not SCI, although SCI is very talented and has much more publicity. Anyone else ever given these guys a chance?
first of all, for someone with a Keller pic as a sig to say SCI could be a "next" big thing is laughable. SCI gave Keller his push in 98-00. SCI is what they are. they had their chance, and they are a "big thing " in the jam world. jam isn't it right now. Some bands cannot afford to tour, sadly. That's why the monster tour Big Summer Classic made some sense. ALO is not quite ready to break. Give a couple more years and wise management moves.
K, the Keller pic is completly irrelivent, and I didn't ask for some fucktard to throw their opinion of SCI in. It was made a comparison with SCI based on my personal thinking. So shut the fuck up, and don't post unless it has to do with the topic.
I saw ALO at Wakarusa too, and really liked them a lot. Keep meaning to find a DL or CD of theirs, to listen more. so much music so little time. um, drumminmama is our illustrious musical moderator, give er a break ok? I know she didn't mean to piss you off.
