Is it Ok/Safe to use SuperGlue for making a bong ? I was gonna use it to glue the stem and bowl together
cause i just using shit around the house and they dont fit together so thats the only way it will work
Should be alright, just don't actually burn the glue (don't expose it to the flame). It may get hot just from the bowl though, so it might still give off fumes. I use silicone (found in aquarium shops/pet supplies stores/hardware stores... used for sealing aquariums among other things). I figure it's safer, because you can put fish in a tank sealed with it and they'll live. To be sure, it's not being heated, but still...fish are pretty sensetive.
i wouldn't use superglue in a bong. just breathing through something with superglue on it is probably unhealthy. having it close to flame (even if it's not burnt) is no good, you'll be breathing in toxic shit. i'd use chewed gum to seal it, maybe a lot of tape.
just DO IT! who cares what hapens even tho i think porkstock is right but he probably thinks differently than i do.
dont use superglue, tinfoil is a million times healthier than heating up superglue. some people are so unresourceful. dont you have any tape? thats better even. what are you using as a bowl?
my friends and i used to make shit like that all the time. unfortunately, there are a lot of unhealthy ways to do it. just use your head and be safe. and yeah, what's the bowlhead?
I used some of this to seal a bowl into a a pipe I made. At first the hits tasted kinda fumey, but after the first time smoking it I've never noticed it. The bowl is metal, so its pretty conductive of heat, but I've never noticed the sealant get mushy or show any signs of melting. I'm not sure how hot a lighter flame is, but the site says that its good for up to 300 degrees Farenheight. The original JB Weld doesn't set as fast, but will hold in up to 500 degrees.
