I realized something today....

Selling Marijuana is illegal.... Possession of Marijuana is illegal... yet you can be high in public and not get a ticket or arrested or get pulled over for being under the influence(except for a few states), unlike alcohol.... this means obviously... that the consumption of marijuana is legal? am i correct in saying this?

um you know why being drunk is illegal? caus drunk people cant control what tehyre doing, can be irrational, obnoxious, disgusting, loud, disruptive, violent and dangerous in many ways.

you can also test someone to see if theyre drunk but you cant test someone to see if theyre stoned, yet.

in order to consume cannabis, you must possess it. therefor, consuming cannabis is illegal. being stoned on the other hand is not, because there is no way of telling whether you are stoned now or was given a cannabis biscuit to eat the week before wihtout your knowlege. they cant prove that didnt happen, therefor there are too many complications involved with arresting people for being on a certain drugs.

 

I'm guessing it would all depend on where you are. Theoretically one should not get arrested for simply being high, or charged with a possession charge unless the person actually has stuff on them. Thinking logically, one should not get arrested for simply being high, but then again, that is only thinking logically.

I don't believe that most states include internal possession as a crime.

Theoretically, one could walk up to a police officer and tell him or her " I smoke pot." As long as the person does not have anything on them, there does not seem like there would be a case on them either. (Why someone would do this, is beyond me, but that is not the point, is it?)

If one is high in public and does not act like an idiot about it, there generally is no issue to begin with. If one does not smell like pot or bring attention to themselves, they generally do not get stopped by cops when walking down the street.

 

11 states have DUID laws... meaning driving under the influence of drugs... where a cop can have you ordered to take a blood test on the spot just like a breathalizer... its gay.. minnesota actually has this law.. even though marijuana is decriminalized

Well, I have seen no laws in any state against consuming marijuana. You don't have to be in posession of it to smoke it, your friend could be holding the bong, pipe, or joint for you.

actually... at my highschool where i use to go... if they thought you were high they did some sort of pen test with your eyes... i dunno... i never had to have it done... but i had friends that got suspended because of it

I've never heard of a judge bust someone for smoking pot...

They bust you for having it.

 

have you ever heard of a case where someone has got off by claiming that someone else held the bong piece? and dont you think someones tried claiming that they werent possessing it, they were just smoking it? (if it was viable ie)

your allowed to be high. but if you are cought with a joint in your hand, its illegal. in between your toes, its illegal, and behind your ear its illegal. what makes you think that a judge would let you off for having it between your lips?



otehrwise youd be able to set up a clamp and put your pieces in that, and put the clamp on some bench in the park and youd be immune to prosecution... that aint how it works
