Since our generations will run things one day, we hope shit will turn up well. How can we start the process before it is totally in our control? I'm talking like.. what can we do to cause change or raise our voices? How can we positively exert our energy?

Help me think up many many many things I won't ever think of on my own. :(

I'm thinking of making up some signs for local protest, but that wont work well out here. Maybe in NYC..

I got it! Let's burn down the house! damn.

Do you think that is really going to touch people on the level we need right now?

You know how protest music gets shot down by critics, media and contards so easily.. Look at the Dixie Chicks. The one merely stated her opinion and got blasted for it..

Do what makes you happy, but don't expect to change much except on a personal level.

I never understood the whole "children are our future" thing...

like look at it this way, the people in power are old...not super old like Pope JP2 old, but like 50's to 70's old...soon then will be "out of power" but new 50 to 70 year olds will take their place...so, there is a generation between us and the one in power if you think about it, so we arent the future, we are the generation after the one to be next in line for power...

besides, people get more conservative as they grow up [usually], so there will almost always be more "conservative" voters then "liberal" ones...

large scale change is stupid...and protests dont really help...all that really needs to happen, is for someone to go back in time and restructure your government so it makes sense [im tlaking parlimentary system here]...

Knowing that you are being who you are makes a difference, because your one less person you wouldn't want to be.
