crochet hook case

I made this crochet hook case because the one I bought did not hold the hooks in and they all fell out eek! This one is much better! The pattern for it can be found here:

that is so cool...i have all mine in a piece of cut bamboo..my dude made me a lid for it outta another piece of bamboo...

 

That sounds pretty cool too. Does he do wood turning as well? I have heard of people making their own hooks this way...

I am going to try making that next time I get some free time and energy....too bad I purchased one that has tons of spaces for the steel hooks, and none for all the big ones, or something...I just know all the hooks I use most are loose in the holder, and I have tons of free spaces I cannot use....ramble ramble ramble....thanks so much!!
