Interested in politics, wan't to learn more

Hey, i always wanted to take part in goverment, it seems like its my duty you know. I just wanted to know, since all you guys on here are reeaaally fucking smart, how do get all this information? Where do you get all your information from, and where should i start? Thanks in advanced for the help.

 

What information are you talking about?

If you mean politics, it is a big subject.

It might be best to start with the basics, I’d recommend an introduction like –

And then research their platforms. Google is a wonderful thing. Check sources that they give you to make sure their legitimate, stuff like that.

 

Watch the news, read the paper, listen to rush limbaugh, listen to air america, go to political forums like this, etc.

but seriously, choose the party by how you feel; i always find it sad to see bright minds taken into the whirlpool trap that is the traditional two-party system of republicrats. question most everything

 

Be careful about questioning to many things, you could end up bitter and overly conservative like me.

 

.......question everything, question yourself, question your perceptions, question the matrix through which you see the world, this glass is the most deceptive of all.......

 

I would warn against examining the manifesto of any modern political party without first having a background in political thought.
