    someone told me that smoking pot can help you lose weight if you dont eat afterword. i though it sounded like this kid was trying just to bullshit me but im kind of curious. can anyone help?

    Lol, I've heard that sprinting for a mile while wearing sweatsuit and not eating afterward helps with the losing weight thing too :p.


    No, i think marijuana increases your haart rate slightly which might help you lose a little weight.

    If you're just going to smoke pot to lose weight, then we don't need you in the stoner culture anyways. Go chill wit hthe methheads if you want to shed some pounds.

    That's a possibility, but I just assumed that he/she(didn't take the time to check the gender)was just asking because they want to drop some weight. I was also just joking about the methhead thing, my uncle's girlfriend started doing crystal to lose weight and now she's losing her son too.

    No, but seriously, my friend is a wrestler, and he always used to smoke the night before to make weigh-in the next morning and he would lose double the weight than if he was sober, and even when he ate stuff, too. Weed does increase your metabolism.

    stop worrying about your weight..unless your at an unheathy eweight then smoking wont do it only diet & excercize will

    well i heard like smoking speeds up yer metablism (so thats why ya get the munchies) so...ig uess if u smoke all day and dont eat...u wud prolly loose weight. but haha this doesnt sound like the way 2 go..not eating when u have the munchies is a damn shame and just overall SAD :( but sometimes i try 2 eat HEALTHY things when i got the munchies...but sometimes ice cream and chips are jus 2 damn hard 2 resist.

    even tho theres a million dieting pills and dieting crap...BASICALY the way 2 loose weight is eat healthy and exercise..simple..but sometimes hard to do.

    ok so first of all im a she. and i already do smoke and im currently on a diet and im exercising. i was just wondering if, since i already do smoke, it might help out. it isnt for health reasons, i just want to.

    not eating will actually slow your metabolism down. Your body needs energy to metabolize, energy comes from food.

    lol i heard some were that becuase it increases your heart rate that its like a trip to the gym :D...hmm i think its time to "fitten" up!

    weed increases your metabolism and deceases it, but that has nothing to do with the munchies. munchies come from the drug acting apon our brain to amplify our hunger (which throught eh same process minimises nausea).

    smoking weed increases your heart rate, and also helps you lose weight. however, only if you abstain from eating huge levels of horrible foods.

    smoke weed, and only eat health things from your diet, and dont eat -more- just caus your stoned, just let being stoned make it taste nicer.

    you should lose weight over the following months.

    it all depends on how much you eat, when you eat it, and how much you move around. being stoned at the couch also doesnt help, but being stoned and going for a walk is very good for your heart and subsequently metabolism.
