OK I posted on fash.and crafts and they sent me here so I will post the same question to all of you.

My hair is like 3-4 feet long and I haven't brushed it out in like 3 days...it really sucks!
At first I was just gonna cut it off, but then it started to matt up underneath and it sparked the idea of dreads. But I don't want to be spending a lot of time like matting it up all at once. Can I just let it matt naturally and help it along rolling and adding beeswax and stuff?

If any of you dreaded beauties have any suggestions on pulling em together over time I would really appreciate it.

ha ha...my in laws are gonna hate this...I love it!

yeah, just let it do it's thing generally people on here don't like using
wax cos it goes mouldy. Just keep seperating them in to dreds of their own & after a year or three the'l look great,

however this takes time. Alternativly section them out with elastic bands (temperaraly of course) & back comb them. But i wouldn't
reccomend using wax, it's nasty stuf. I used the stuff & wish I hadn't

Just read the other posts on here, people will only be glad to help.

Take it easy & happy dreading !!!
