I hate, with everything in me, looking for decent shoes. I'm looking for a pair of slip on, backless, closed toe, flat soled, plain tan coloured shoes (light, or dark). Somehow these have been banished from every store possible. Anyone know of any good places online or anywhere else IN CANADA that i could get these shoes? They HAVE to be closed toe...they're for work, and i need a pair that will actually look nice with a shorter skirt. My ankles are too skinny to wear my fatty skater shoes with them. lol HELP!!! I'm desperate! And please please keep in mind that i live in Canada lol...
Born makes some awesome comfy shoes, I have a pair of black ones that are exactly what you are describing. I got mine at Ross(a discount store here in the states), but I'm sure you can find some in Canada, or on the internet. I think Zappos.com sells them, and overstock.com has them from time to time.

(fuck i just realized they dont ship to Canada... whoops!) well if you know anyone in the US that would ship them over to you.... they have lots of brown/tan clogs that are super comfy! www.birkenstocks.com also, have you tried crocs? they are really really really comfortable shoes... i know they look like they have backstraps, but you can flip the backstrap up, and it just looks like an add-on to the shoe. they are seriously the most comfortable shoes on the planet... and they are pretty cheap! only about $30.00 bucks! before shipping and handling.... and they DO ship to canada! www.crocs.com and finally, (as much as i hate to say it) american eagle has clogs... i hate american eagle... these are about $30 bucks too... DAMMIT... first of all, no offense, I think crocs are the ugliest shoes ever created. Oh man, those are the ugliest shoes i've ever seen in my life, i don't know how anyone could ever put those on their feet. oh man...they're going to give me nightmares. I have goosebumps lol okay i'm done. birks have nothing i'm looking for. I will never shop at american eagle, even though we have one here, so that's a write off; plus something about those shoes looks really weird. I've tried wal-mart (even though i refuse to shop there also....i was desperate and thinking irrationally lol) zellers, payless, (we don't have target or k-mart) none of the above have anything. I don't even want to try the mall, because every shoe in the mall is at LEAST (but usually way higher than) $60 and that's unacceptable for shoes. I've looked up like 100 vegan shoe websites, and no one has anything. The shoes FaeryMoon has are perfect, but they didn't even have the colour i wanted! (it was either that, or they were too expensive, i don't remember) MAN who ever thought this would be so hard?!?? lol

I recommend trying ebay or different thrift stores. I got a cool ass pair of shoes from a thrift store for 4 bucks Unless you're disgusted by second hand shoes, I don't know.
