well since bush admitted that there was no weapons of mass distruction and it was all faulty intelligence, then why are we still in Iraq? because saddam was there? well hes gone now too. why does bush insist on having his own people and thousands of innocent civilians killed every day? do you think bush has a guilty conscience about what he is doing? oh so many questions:confused:

Well if we left, bloody ethnic civil war would break out and whoever came out on top would be no different than Saddam.

I hate to say it but Saddam kept order in Iraq. He did it by killing people. Mostly criminals that threatened the Baath government. Innocent civilians that got in the way also were killed which is natural. We kill innocent civilians that get in the way everyday. Fact: over 200,000 innocent civilians were killed by American bombs in the first Iraq war. Civilian deaths in the second Iraq war: un-published.

Iraq was a Liberal, secular country that did not support any terrerosist group. People of many various nationalities were living in Iraq before the first Gulf War without fear of oppression from Saddam.

I know this for a fact. My uncle used to live there. I've been there. From what I recall I cant remember seeing a single cop, soldier, any type of law enforcement anywhere. It was a very relaxed atomosphere and "a great place to live", says my uncle. Now he's back in his home country of India.

And now shortly after we leave some cleric is going to take power and the world will have a new Iran. Good going hawks!

because he needs the war to win the election. for some reason in war time it's a gicen that the present guy in charge wins, so the war keeps going. but it should be done when they hand over power to the iraquis. but it seems the date for that keeps moving back. i think. since there is a bounty on the pms head.

Well having a bounty on the PM's head would be a small deterrent now wouldn't it? The war argument dosen't really matter in this particular election, since both candidates have more or less the same idea in mind. The only difference is that Kerry might try to get some other nations involved.

Getting the UN involved in this would be a huge failure, because the UN is a failure.
