Well I'm still around...barely. Summer is so busy for me. Just made my first plate of FRIED GREEN TOMATOES tonight.....whooo hooo!! Waiting to see if we're going to get a bit of rain fron Dennis. We're on the outskirts of his swirl right now. Its been so dry, our well is way down and I've been having to water by hand. Larry has had a bad foot this past couple of weeks and I feel so worn out. He couldn't hardly walk....today he got his boot on for an hour and had to get up on the roof to make sure all would be ok if we get some high winds. I want to start a forum of my own this winter. About living close to the land and help with self-sufficiency. Wish you all lived closer, sure would be nice to have some beautiful faces around the bon fire. And I would cook for you.
