I am going to get one more tattoo. I know musically based tats can be pretty cliche, but music is such a big part of my life. It reminds me of who I am. I really want a tattoo of a moth. The moth signifies a few personal things for me. I have a base design, but I need to make it original. I want to add a few personal touches to it. the problem is, I am not talented in that department. I can't draw or paint or sketch. There's so many wonderful artists here, I was wondering if someone could help me out. Even to give me an idea of how to incorprate what I'd like to the basic design would be appreciated.
If you have enough money, you could commission a tattoo design from an artist. It really depends what you're interested in, I'm an art student so I designed my own tattoo with a little help from some other random students. It depends on what you want, I mean, if you have something else that means a lot to you, then you could maybe overlap them, have the moth design ontop of a larger image of something else. Maybe a pattern in the background. If you're interested, then you could email me your base design and since I have a circle of friends that are all artists, I could ask around, see if they have any ideas

hey, i am a tattoo artists and since you seem like a pretty cool chick ill help ya out, i have a tattoo myself of a modified kokopelli with dreads- it stands for the spirit of music among other things, but thats what it stands for to me. Thats awsome how you want a tattoo of a moth because i was just discussing that the other day how it would be cool to get a moth tattoo, its diffent from the basic butterfly.
