My experiences with DXM have been so extreme, so much more intense than anything else i've tried. And I've done just about everything except heroin itself. DXM is a distant cousin from morphine chemically, and is a psychedelic anesthethetic at high doses. It produces strong out of body near death experiences. I recommend a high dose for a near death out of body or astral travel experience. Your mind, perception and ideas will all be forever transformed on every aspect. Not only is DXM and amazing drug, the drug itself has never has reported overdoses. Unless its mixed with other ingredients. There are products on the market selling bottles of pure DXM syrup with about 850+ mg in the bottle. No other ingredients. One of those will surely send you out of this world, be careful of aliens, and yes im serious your mind is not as restricted as you think, after a point you realize its not the drugs its your spirit that your using to explore the universe. If you wanna go to hell and back, or heaven and back and anywhere inbetween, then check this out because I guarantee if you can stomach it, you will definitly experience something universally priceless. ~Thanks
At the store, the DXM "Robitussin Gellcap" are pure DXM liquid. Approximately 300 mg in 1 bottle. Also Delsyum is pure DXM. Its sold in stores too. It comes in too sized bottles. One bottle has around 400 mg. The other sized (big bottle) which is 148 ml. and has 30 mg per teaspoon has appox. 850 mg. Its about 13.99 for the big bottle. Most grocery stores sell it but I recommend Albertson's personally. They will for sure have it.
I took Robitussin Gelcaps on an Alaskan cruise with my parents last summer and experimented with a time release dextromethorphan. I felt completely stupid on the gel caps but the time release was somewhat fun. It's a dissociative (like PCP and Ketamine) and inhibits your brains ability to send acetylcholine to your muscles. Acetylcholine is the chemical that flexes and relaxes your muscles. That's why people on DXM walk so rigid. I couldn't even speak appropriately because it felt like words wouldn't come out of my mouth. While it's relatively safe overdoses have been reported and are documented on Erowid at the bottom of the Dose page http://www.erowid.org/chemicals/dxm/ "DXM is considered to be quite safe, even at doses well above those recommended for medical use (10-50mg). A handful of fatalities have been reported from DXM-alone (more are reported from DXM combined with other drugs), but the dosages taken for these fatal overdoses are uncertain. Well Ive done huge amounts, im fine. Also, I have never heard of any of those fatalaties reported as the cause of death being the DXM. Someone might have done something harmful or dangerous under the influence of DXM but theres no studies showing DXM can kill you by itself. When other things are added like antihistamines or guffinestein it can kill you.
ive done dxm once, it was cool, but i remember it lasting a good while(I think). if i were to dex out again how long should i expect to be gone?
if ur looking for a fun trip, where you'll still remeber most of it... I'd say stay under 600mgs i tried 6oz of robotusssin extra strength cough and ended up puking and not remembering anything.... I do remember rolling over in my bed... but i would have to put my hand down on the matress to see if i was really rolling onto something solid... it felt like if i rolled over without checking, i would just fall into infinite darkness... But aprox 500mgs is pretty fun (thats a 4oz bottle of robo).... i think its really good to intentionally take it and try to meiditate.... i havent gotten very good at that. but it seems like when i close my eyes and try to concentrate on my perception, everything else just quiets down and becomes background noise...
